GOD IS GREATER THAN EVERYTHING INCLUDING YOUR PROBLEMS

The Lord God Almighty spoke the Universe into existence (Hebrew 11:3). He alone is God and He has alone has Ultimate Power (Psalm 86:10; Isaiah 42:8; 43:11). Nothing can withstand Him and nothing is greater than Him. God does not depend on anyone or anything for His existence.

God has always existed before time began. Everything in the entire universe depends on God for existence. God sustains the Universe with His powerful Word (Hebrews 1:3b).

God alone sees everything, knows everything and has the Ultimate Power.

The question therefore is, is there anything God cannot do? Is there a limit to His power? Is there a situation that is beyond God the Father Almighty? The answer, dear friend, is no!

I know this because I have just taken time in the preceding paragraphs to describe to you who God is. There cannot be anything or anyone greater than God because He is the Creator and every other thing is created by Him and for His pleasure (Isaiah 44:24).

God says in His Word in that there is no limit to His power (Numbers 11:23). Now since there is no limit to God's power, it means He can do all things as His Word clearly says in (Job 9:10; Mark 10:27). God does not need to consult anyone to know and understand how to do things (Isaiah 40:14).

Dear friend, remember that God created human beings in His own image and likeness (Genesis 1:26-27). God did this out of love for us. What this simply means for you and for me is that we can go to God for solution to our every problem.

What is that problem that has been plaguing you now for long? Is it money, health, relationship, business, spiritual or demonic attacks, nightmares? What exactly is the challenge you face?

You have seen clearly that such issues are not, will not and cannot be greater than God the Father Almighty. Our human limitations are our limitations; for God it is not so. He is THE SOLUTION to all our problems.

It means we must ALWAYS take our problems to God for solution. However, the solution can only come from God when we have a relationship with Him. Yes, He blesses everyone and gives life to everyone, but His Word says the Lord keeps close watch over the whole world, to give strength to those whose hearts are loyal to Him (2 Chronicles 16:9).

The next logical question to ask is how are we to be loyal to God? It is simply by giving our lives to Christ Jesus and obeying God's commandments. When we give our lives to Christ Jesus, we tell God that we believe what He did for mankind by giving us Jesus to die for our sins on the Cross of Calvary.

That singular act of love by God reconciled mankind to Him and opened the Gates of Heaven to those who die as His friends. The beauty again of this act of love is that when we believe it by faith and live according to God's commands, we can have anything we want when we pray to God by faith through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ (John 14:11-14; John 15:7-8).

If we can have anything we want from God through faith in Jesus Christ, it means we have no business with feeling despair or feeling lost. People feel this way because there is a gap in their lives that only Jesus Christ can fill.

No matter the level of success one attains in life, as most famous people display on television and social media, there is ALWAYS that gap in their lives or their children's lives that they erroneously fill with alcohol, hard drugs, pornography, etc etc as a temporary solution to depression and loneliness.

Dear friend, it is only Jesus Christ that can fill our souls and give us genuine peace. He is able to do this because He created us and He loves us genuinely. He has demonstrated this love for us when He died to save us from damnation forever in hell fire where satan, the father of lies and deceit has been condemned and is waiting and planning all manner of evils to capture innocent souls of human beings who die in sin.

Jesus is calling us today; He is calling us now to come to Him and be saved. Tomorrow may be too late. He says you should cast all your burdens on Him and He will give you rest. He is the ONLY one who can do it. No human being or nothing else can give us that elusive peace of mind people look for in the wrong places.

Please turn to Jesus sincerely today. Don't give up on God because He has not given up on you. Turn to Him and develop a genuine relationship with Him as the ONLY guarantee of peace here on earth and eternal salvation in the hereafter once we depart this world.

HOW DO YOU CONTROL VIOLENCE IN PEOPLE?

Hebrews 12:14 (AMPC)  “ Strive to live in peace with everybody and pursue that consecration  and holiness without which no one will [ever] see the Lord.”   Dear people of God, I read sometime in December 2019 ago of a police inspector in Nigeria who shot and killed his colleague, a corporal, and the same shot injured another colleague, a deputy Superintendent of police after which the police inspector took his own life.   What could have led to such violence?   I also read of another unfortunate story of a lady killed December 25, 2019, Christmas Day, by her husband who had beaten her to a coma and then ran away after discovering what he had done. GOD CANNOT VIOLATE HIS WORD

  Psalm 89:34  “My covenant I will not violate, nor will I alter the utterance of My lips.” Dear people of God, today’s lead Bible text in Psalm 89:34 is a profound statement by God Almighty and Father of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
