IT IS UNTO YOU ACCORDING TO YOUR FAITH

“To have faith is to be sure of the things we hope for, to be certain of the things we cannot see.” 

Dear people of God, the Bible tells us what Faith means as stated above in today’s lead text.

it means to be sure of the things we hope for, to be certain of the things we cannot see. Faith means you are confident that whatever you want, you have it. It does not come by hard work, your ethnic nationality, gender, school certificate, political connections, Intelligent Quotient (IQ) level or what have you.

So how does one obtain faith? This question is very important because there are Christians who pray to God to give them faith or to increase their faith.

Unfortunately, such prayer is wrong because it is not Scriptural and therefore not according to God’s will.

To confirm what I have just stated, let us look at how faith comes in Romans 10:17 (NKJV), “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.”

You can see for yourself that faith comes by hearing the Word of God. Faith does not come through fasting and prayer but by hearing the Word of God.

The more of God’s Word you hear, the more your faith is developed or increased.

You would also notice in Luke 17:5-6 that when the Apostles asked the Lord Jesus Christ to increase their faith, Jesus’ response was to preach the Word to them about making declarations.

Of course, in today’s Christianity, those declarations are made in the Name of Jesus. In fact, every word you speak carrying power so you must be careful not to make careless declarations because whatsoever things you speak whether causally or seriously, that would you obtain in life.

You must therefore learn to be conscious of the words that come out of your mouth that they are in line with what you want to see in your life.
Dear friend, since faith comes from hearing God’s Word, a wise Christian would certainly saturate his spirit with God’s Word to increase his faith, know his right in Christ Jesus and declare those Scriptures to activate and claim those rights in Christ.

If you are still struggling to get answers to your prayers, then check your faith. Check your faith means check God’s Word to know what is happening and whether your prayers align with God’s Word. Additionally, ask God also to show where you are getting it wrong so you can make corrections.

God’s response would usually be to refer you to His Word.

The Word of God is the bottom line.  It is the final authority in all things.

Do you want a miracle? Have you been searching for one? All you have to do is have faith that God can do all things. Faith comes from hearing God’s Word.

Everything is possible for the person who believes.

How grateful I am to the God and Father of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Who has revealed these great things to us and given us these enormous benefits as His children.

I pray the Lord would open your eyes of understanding, dear friend, to see these same privileges in Christ Jesus so you can always appreciate, worship and honour Him in all things.

As for those who are yet to surrender their lives to Jesus, you can see from this message that the best gifts of this life are reserved for Christians.

Being a Christian means know Jesus Christ both as Lord and Saviour of your life by righteous obedience to His commandments in the Holy Bible.

It is not that God does not love non-Christians. No, God loves every human He created. God has only said the ONLY acceptable way of life as far as He is concerned is Christianity.

There is no other option.

Please come to Jesus Christ today, dear friend, before it is too late for you.

May the good Lord bless you as you heed His Word today, act on it and share with others in Jesus’ Most Loving Name, Amen.

HOW DO YOU CONTROL VIOLENCE IN PEOPLE?

Hebrews 12:14 (AMPC)  “ Strive to live in peace with everybody and pursue that consecration  and holiness without which no one will [ever] see the Lord.”   Dear people of God, I read sometime in December 2019 ago of a police inspector in Nigeria who shot and killed his colleague, a corporal, and the same shot injured another colleague, a deputy Superintendent of police after which the police inspector took his own life.   What could have led to such violence?   I also read of another unfortunate story of a lady killed December 25, 2019, Christmas Day, by her husband who had beaten her to a coma and then ran away after discovering what he had done. GOD CANNOT VIOLATE HIS WORD

  Psalm 89:34  “My covenant I will not violate, nor will I alter the utterance of My lips.” Dear people of God, today’s lead Bible text in Psalm 89:34 is a profound statement by God Almighty and Father of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. What this statement from God means is that there is nothing He has said in His Word that He will fail to perform.
