THE ONE MIRACLE I WISH COULD HAPPEN
Dear friend, the Word of God states in 2
Peter 3:9, "The Lord does not delay
and is not tardy or slow about what He promises, according to some people's
conception of slowness, but He is long-suffering (extraordinarily patient)
toward you, not desiring that any should perish, but that all should turn to
repentance."
The Word of God also states in Romans 2:4, "Or are you [so blind as to] trifle
with and presume upon and despise and underestimate the wealth of His kindness
and forbearance and long-suffering patience? Are you unmindful or actually
ignorant [of the fact] that God's kindness is intended to lead you to repent
(to change your mind and inner man to accept God's will)?"
As you can see, God is patient and
long-suffering with us and expects us to shudder at His Word and repent from
sin and evil.
Therefore, the greatest miracle I would
love to see in my life time is for God to change the hearts of all mankind to
repent, accept Jesus and live a holy life.
If this were to happen, it would
automatically change the course of events in the world and make it a peaceful
place.
Fights would stop, sickness would end,
wickedness, ritual killings, theft, rape, murder, larceny, lies, stealing,
adultery, fornication, occultism, hatred, strife, envy, jealousy, anger,
gossip, calumny, backbiting, wars between nations, demonic activities and
influences, etc, etc would end because love would rule the hearts of people and
would reflect in the way we treat each other.
The Spirit of God would rule the lives of
mankind and shape every word, action, thought, and reaction mankind engage in.
Dear friend, this is the ideal life we all
look forward to.
However, no matter how much we wish it, in
this present world we cannot get this miracle because God Almighty and Father
of our Lord Jesus Christ in His Divine Wisdom, Omnipotence and Omniscience has
dictated the way things would proceed.
God did this by sending His only begotten
Son Jesus Christ our Lord to come to earth as a human being, suffer a most
humiliating death on the Cross of Calvary as atonement for the sins of mankind
and the price He paid on our behalf.
Everyone who believes this message of the
Gospel of Repentance and Salvation, accepts it and lives in strict obedience to
Jesus' teachings in the Holy Bible is assured of attaining the perfect life I
described earlier in heaven.
Everyone who believes otherwise and rejects
it will never attain this perfect life.
If this is the case, it means God will
never overlook what Jesus Christ did on behalf of mankind and therefore the
miracle of God touching all mankind to repent will never happen.
The Price our Saviour paid on our behalf
with His precious blood is too great a price to underestimate or overlook.
However, it is pertinent to note that it is
only God Almighty who saves in His mercy and love and He has open an invitation
to all of mankind to hear and accept the message of the Gospel of Christ Jesus.
God loves us so much and this is why He did
what He did and He continues to give us the opportunity to accept as long as we
are alive.
This Divine Mercy offer from God ends when
a person dies. It would also end when Jesus Christ comes again in Rapture very,
very shortly to take back to heaven only those who belong to Him.
Those who belong to Jesus are those who
have repented, accept Jesus Christ and live genuinely in accordance with His
commands in the Holy Bible.
Dear friend, there is no more time. Jesus
Christ is coming NOW!!! Are you ready to receive Him?
