CHRISTIAN MAN, CHRISTIAN WOMAN, GOD DOES NOT PERMIT YOU TO USE JEWELLERY OF ANY KIND
1 Timothy 2:9-10 (KJV)
“In like manner also, that women adorn themselves
in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; NOT with braided hair, or GOLD,
or PEARLS, or COSTLY ARRAY;
10 But (which becometh women professing godliness)
with good works.”
1 Peter 3:3-4 (KJV)
“Whose adorning let it NOT be that outward adorning
of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of GOLD, or of putting on of apparel;
4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in
that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit,
which is in the sight of God of great price.
Genesis 35:2-4 (AMPC)
“Then Jacob said to his household and to all who
were with him, Put away the [images of] strange gods that are among you, and
purify yourselves and change [into fresh] garments;
3 Then let us arise and go up to Bethel, and I
will make there an altar to God Who answered me in the day of my distress and
was with me wherever I went.
4 So they [both young men and women] gave to
Jacob all the strange gods they had and their EARRINGS which were [worn as
charms against evil] in their ears; and Jacob buried and hid them under
the oak near Shechem.”
Dear people of God, many years ago when I got married to my
spouse, we used a wedding ring as a sign of our marriage covenant.
Many years later by the grace of God Almighty and Father of my
Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ and His Divine Revelations to His children, we
have come to realize that God does not accept Christians to wear jewellery of
any kind.
For me personally, even before I knew this by God’s grace, I never
fancied the idea of wearing jewellery, ring or even wedding ring and I thank
God the way I felt was consistent with God’s stand on the matter.
From the first 2 lead texts above, you can see once again that Apostles
Paul and Peter also mentioned through inspiration by God’s Holy Spirit that
Christians are not to wear gold or jewellery as part of their attire.
In Genesis 35:1, God spoke to Jacob to return to Bethel (where
he had earlier encountered God as recorded in Genesis 28:11-22) from the present
place he was living with his family.
However, we also see in Genesis 35:2-4 that Jacob commanded his
entire household to put away every strange god in their possessions, purify
themselves and change their garments before they departed to where God wanted
them to be.
It is clearly stated here that Jacob’s household gave him their
earrings used as charms amongst other idols which he buried under a tree.
This is evident that even in the old testament time, God never
permitted his children to wear jewellery.
It should be noted that Jacob’s household must have learnt
idolatry from Laban his father-in-law (Genesis 31:30) whom they dwelt with before
Jacob came into their lives.
Dear friend, there are many things we were born to see as
Christians and even churches today are erroneously practising but it does not
make it acceptable to God.
For Christians, whether men or women, to insist on wearing jewellery
despite what the Word of God says in today’s lead Holy Bible texts is rebellion
and I can tell you that you would be the worst for it when God either leaves
you at imminent Rapture of the saints or when you die and are cast into eternal
damnation.
I make a passionate appeal to you not to toy with the Word of
God. Even my spouse and I had since discarded all her jewellery in 2013 but we kept
back our wedding rings just as a souvenir.
However, recently, we came across another Divine Revelation
message to a sister Happiness Aibangbee (an evangelist and prophetess) to whose
prayer team the Lord Jesus Christ showed the origin of jewellery and how it is
produced in the demonic marine world using bones of dead marine agents and
transported into this physical world through incantations.
Immediately we discovered this, we have since thrown away our
wedding rings so as not to keep idols in our home and give way to demons to
have free entry and damn our souls through deliberate ignorance – God forbid.
Yes, one can argue and say that the Bible says the streets of
heaven is paved with gold (Revelation 21:21) and rightly so. However, the Bible
does not say the inhabitants of heaven wear gold or silver or any such items on
their bodies as jewellery and that is the key difference you should note.
The Bible also says that the Lord Jesus Christ as a baby in this
world was presented with gold as a gift from the wise men from the East – Matthew
2:11. But the Bible does not have any record of Jesus Christ wearing jewellery.
Keeping gold as wealth and trading with it is different from
using it as jewellery.
The idea of converting gold and silver into jewellery is from
the devil and his intention is to corrupt God’s people, make them sin against
God and eternally damn their souls when they die.
So a Christian should NOT get carried away to believe God
accepts jewellery to be worn on the body.
You should never wear jewellery of any kind and by whatever name
– wedding ring, neck chain, bangle, ankle chain, pearls, beads, earrings, nose-rings,
etc. because it is demonic and unacceptable to God.
The devil having realized that genuine born-again Christians do
not use wear jewellery on their bodies has corruptly re-introduced them to
jewellery through sewing them on their clothing as we see today Christian
sisters and brothers wear clothing, shoes and carry bags with pearls and stones
on them.
The Lord Jesus Christ says any person who does this is still
putting on jewellery and must immediately repent and discard and burn such
clothing before it is too late.
Do NOT dash such idol items to anyone because that is
transferring the idol to another person and you will account to God. Just take
it out and destroy it completely.
After the ongoing Great Tribulation, Jesus Christ is coming to
take ONLY those who are qualified according to His righteous standards in the
Holy Bible.
Are you living a genuine life as His disciple? Are you ready for
Him? Come to Jesus today, for tomorrow may be too late for you.
May the good Lord bless you as you heed His Word today, act on
it and share with others in Jesus’ Most Holy Name, Amen.
