“For if
because of one man's trespass (lapse, offense) death reigned through that one,
much more surely will those who receive [God's] overflowing grace (unmerited
favor) and the free gift of righteousness [putting them into right standing
with Himself] reign as kings in life through the one Man Jesus Christ (the
Messiah, the Anointed One).”
Dear people of God, many Christians today believe the devil is
their problem. No doubt the devil as the god of this world (2 Corinthians 4:4)
places obstacles in the paths of everyone and PARTICULARLY Christians to
frustrate them, make them doubt God, become offended at God and risk eternity
in HELL.
However, what does God’s Word say to
Christians about the devil? Let us examine Colossians 1:13-14 (AMPC), “[The Father] has
delivered and drawn us to Himself out of the control and the dominion
of darkness and has transferred us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,

Whom we have our redemption through His blood, [which means] the
forgiveness of our sins.
You see for yourself that God has already given you victory over
the devil and all you have to do is enforce that victory in the Name of the
Lord Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ Himself also stated this victory in Luke 10:19.
There are Christians who believe their human enemies are their
problem. Any human enemy (family member, relative, friend, acquaintance, neighbour)
who seeks to hurt you spiritually or even physically is influenced by the devil
and since the devil is the person’s master, and Jesus has given you authority
over ALL the powers of the enemy (the devil, demons and their human agents),
all you need do is enforce your authority in the Name of Jesus Christ to
scatter and destroy every plan of the enemy against your life.
I must state here as always that you are NOT to pray against
your human enemies for the death of anyone because Jesus says to love your
human enemies, treat them well and pray for the well-being of all who persecute
you – Luke 6:27-31.
Some Christians believe their employer and the government are
their problem. Again, the Bible says in 1 Timothy 2:1-4 to pray for kings (or
heads of nations), people in government and all in authority for us to live
quiet and peaceable lives.
God’s Word says such prayer is good, pleasing, and acceptable to
God Who wishes all humans to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the Divine
Truth.
Since from God’s Word, you see for yourself that the devil, the
government, your employer or your human enemies are NOT your problem, it then
follows that you as a person, a Christian Believer, are your own problem.
You would then ask how and I would simply respond by telling you
that you are your own problem for the reason that you DON’T believe God’s Word
in the Holy Bible.
If you believed God’s Word, you would have known that the
aforementioned individuals and spirits are not your problem.
If you believed God’s Word, you would have known that God is
your Father, Spiritual Guide, Provider, Protector, Saviour, Healer, Deliverer,
Sanctifier, Baptizer, and so on and so forth.
You would have known that as His child, you have Divine Rights
in Christ Jesus and one of such rights is stated in today’s lead Holy Bible
text above.
As a Christian Believer, God has bestowed upon you ABUNDANCE of
grace and the FREE gift of righteousness to reign as a king in life through
Jesus Christ the Messiah.
If you believed God’s Word, then you should have known that
earthly kings who reign have enormous resources at their disposal for their
use, how much more spiritual kings who reign in life through Christ as His
children.
Dear friend, please take your eyes off whoever or whatever else you
have been thinking of as the source of your problems in life and focus instead
on what God has declared in His Word as your Divine Right as His child, thank and
worship the Lord for His Divine and unfailing promises over you, believe it,
declare it with your own mouth and do so daily as you go about your LEGITIMATE
business until you see its manifestation in your life.
How these things would come about is not your problem but rather
claim them by faith because God has said it and His Word is final and forever
settled in heaven. Remember, the Bible says that to have faith is to be sure of
the things we hope for, to be certain of things we cannot see – Hebrews 11:1
(GNBDK).
Before I end, let me sound a note of warning here. Professing
Christianity and living a hypocritical double life of sin against God would
surely deprive you of your Divine rights in Christ because Jesus Christ cannot
be the Father of a sinner but the devil is the father of sinners.
Additionally, laying claim to Christ whilst living in sin
automatically opens the door to the enemy, the devil, demons and their human
agents to attack you spiritually and physically and you can be sure they would
oblige you.
You therefore cannot afford to profess Christ and at the same
time be living in sin (all wrongdoing, contrary to God’s Divine laws in the
Holy Bible is sin) because you would not only live a miserable life here on
earth but you would never enter heaven, unfortunately.
The choice, dear friend, is yours to make.
Jesus Christ is coming shortly to take in Rapture ONLY those who
are qualified according to His righteous standards in the Holy Bible.
Are you living a genuine life as His disciple? Are you ready for
Him? Repent and come to Jesus today, for tomorrow may be too late for you.
Once Jesus takes away His children, the entire earth would come
under God’s wrath and Divine judgement in a most terrible manner never
experienced before.
Why do you risk your life in sin, risk the grave danger, pain
and suffering ahead and risk ultimately damning your soul forever in the lake
of fire?
May the good Lord bless you as you heed His Word today, act on
it and share with others in Jesus’ Most Holy Name, Amen.
