SEEK COUNSEL FROM ONLY JESUS CHRIST AND NO ONE ELSE (3)

Hebrews 13:7 (AMP) “Remember your leaders [for it was they] who brought you the Word of God; and consider the result of their conduct [the outcome of their godly lives], and imitate their faith [their conviction that God exists and is the Creator and Ruler of all things, the Provider of eternal salvation through Christ, and imitate their reliance on God with absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness].”   Dear people of God, in the second part of this message, we stated that a Christian in seeking godly counsel should consult a genuine preacher of the Gospel whose lifestyle reflects God’s requirements because these preachers are Jesus Christ’s representatives on earth and Jesus speaks to them as He wills to pass messages to the church.   As promised, we will examine God’s Word to know who is a genuine preacher of the Gospel so Christians can be guided when they seek counsel.   It is written in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 (AMP), “This is a faithful and trustworth...

PROMISED MESSAGE FROM THE MESSAGE OF SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 5 2026

Dear friend, as I did promise in last week's posting, please find below here👇 the link on this blog to the message FALSE TEACHING AND FALSE DOCTRINES IN CHRISTENDOM: https://winsoulsforjesuschrist.blogspot.com/2020/11/false-teachings-and-false-doctrines-in.html. Do take your time to study this message and also take time to study the Bible passages provided in the message against the listed false teaching as it would open your eyes to the Truth of God's Word, why you should study the Bible for yourself and allow the Holy Spirt to teach and lead you and not just rely on what is said in your local church congregation. Many who follow their church doctrine blindly would unfortunately miss heaven for every false teaching and doctrine they have believed, accepted and practised in their lifetime. You can prevent this from happening and the choice is strictly yours to make. A Word is enough for the wise. Gabriel Ama.

A LIFE WITHOUT JESUS CHRIST IS A WASTED LIFE

1 John 5:11-13 (AMPC) And this is that testimony (that evidence): God gave us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.   12 He who possesses the Son has that life; he who does not possess the Son of God does not have that life.   13 I write this to you who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) the Name of the Son of God [in the peculiar services and blessings conferred by Him on men], so that you may know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that you [already] have life, yes, eternal life.” Dear people of God, all over the Internet (YouTube, Facebook, Blogger, etc), you will find amazing testimonies of former non-Christian people who were once adherents of one religious group or another but who have now by the Grace of God become Christians by virtue of a personal encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ.   What is common with all these testimonies is that what they claim Jesus Christ told them is verifiable from the Holy Bible, the infallible Word of God.   I...

THE THINGS THAT GOD HATES

Proverbs 6:16-19 (AMPC) “These six things the Lord hates, indeed, seven are an abomination to Him:   17 A proud look [the spirit that makes one overestimate himself and underestimate others], a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, [Ps. 120:2, 3.]   18 A heart that manufactures wicked thoughts and plans, feet that are swift in running to evil,   19 A false witness who breathes out lies [even under oath], and he who sows discord among his brethren.”   Dear people of God, there are a number of practices some, even Christians, engage in today, not knowing they are offensive to God.   Some categorize sin, believing they should avoid the “obvious ones” and commit the not so obvious because according to them nobody is perfect.   Let us see what God’s Word says about Christians in Hebrews 10:10,14 (AMPC), “And in accordance with this will [of God], we have been made holy (consecrated and sanctified) through the offering made once for all of the ...

WHO WOULD YOU LISTEN TO – GOD OR MAN?

1 Kings 13:15-24 (AMPC) “ Then he said to him, come home with me and eat bread.   16 He said, I may not return with you or go in with you, neither will I eat bread or drink water with you in this place.   17 For I was told by the Word of the Lord, you shall not eat bread or drink water there or return by the way that you came.   18 He answered, I am a prophet also, as you are. And an angel spoke to me by the word of the Lord, saying, bring him back with you to your house, that he may eat bread and drink water. But he lied to him.   19 So the man from Judah went back with him and ate and drank water in his house.   20 And as they sat at the table, the Word of the Lord came to the prophet who brought him back.   21 And he cried to the man of God who came from Judah, Thus says the Lord: Because you have disobeyed the Word of the Lord and have not kept the command which the Lord your God commanded you,   22 But have come back and have eaten bread an...

THE CHRISTIAN WHO WAS WILLING TO LEARN

Acts 18:24-26 (AMPC)   “ Meanwhile, there was a Jew named Apollos, a native of Alexandria, who came to Ephesus. He was a cultured and eloquent man, well versed and mighty in the Scriptures.   25 He had been instructed in the way of the Lord, and burning with spiritual zeal, he spoke and taught diligently and accurately the things concerning Jesus, though he was acquainted only with the baptism of John.   26 He began to speak freely (fearlessly and boldly) in the synagogue; but when Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they took him with them and expounded to him the way of God more definitely and accurately.   Dear people of God, every genuine Christian knows the Word of God in the Holy Bible is ABSOLUTE and without any error.   Just take a look at the description of the Jewish convert to Christianity named Apollos in today’s lead Holy Bible text.   In spite of his experience with the Word of God as we are told, there was still information he needed to have conc...

YOU MUST HONOUR YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER

Ephesians 6:1-3 (AMPC)   “ CHILDREN, OBEY your parents in the Lord [as His representatives], for this is just and right.   2 Honour (esteem and value as precious) your father and your mother – this is the first commandment with a promise – [ Exodus 20:12.]   3 That all may be well with you and that you may live long on the earth.”     Dear people of God, there are many Christians who do not understand the import of God’s Word and the power and consequence therein, not until the Holy Spirit or someone inspired by God’s Spirit explains it to them.   Today Holy Bible text is one of such messages.   It tells us that our parents are God’s representatives on this earth and so we MUST obey them.   It further tells us to honour our father and mother and there is a promise attached, which is, that ALL may be well with us and that we may live long on the earth.   Now consider this, what do you think is the consequence for any child who refuses to obey...
