I have heard some people say their sin is so grave that they are sure God can never forgive them, ever! Wrong! As long as a human being exists on this earth, he or she ALWAYS has a chance at repentance and conversion to become a child of God through Jesus Christ our Lord. This is called the mercy of our God. Whether you are a rapist, murderer, ritualist, witch, wizard, occultist, magician, sorcerer, medium, necromancer, prostitute, arsonist, paedophile, human trafficker, sadist, homosexual, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, armed robber, abortionist, whatever you may think is the greatest sin you have ever committed, one thing I can assure you is that as long as you are not dead, you have a second chance to repent, confess your sins, accept Jesus Christ as Lord, make restitution and live a new life with firm resolution to follow Jesus Christ’s Word in the Holy Bible forever. Many times Christians are faced with seemingly insurmountable obstacles in their lives and it does seem as though God has forgotten them. Prayers, fasting, petitions, vigils all go unanswered. These same people keep getting testimonies of God's intervention in other people's lives who have not fasted or prayed as hard as they have but God responded and granted their request. After a while, such Christians sink into despair, questioning God's Authority, Sovereignty, Omnipotence, Omnipresence and Omniscience. Dear friend, today I came across a person who says he is a Christian but his understanding of Christianity and the Word of God leaves a lot to be desired. I came to a barbing saloon in my neighbourhood to have a haircut and while waiting my turn, I was sharing with one of the saloon workers my encounter with a lady I met minutes earlier at a fuel station who was trying to sell me audio CDs. I had told the lady I don't buy hip hop music and she said she also sold Gospel, to which I responded that I don't buy pirated CDs either.  The lady told me she did not sell pirated CDs and when I asked her the price, she told me an amount that made me know the CDs were pirated and I told her so. She then told me she sources her CDs from the same place with the people I buy from in shops and that their price was more expensive than hers. She further told me she was a Christian too and she was heaven bound. I never uttered a word again as she spoke and later walked away ...

God Almighty has made it possible for anyone in any part of this planet earth to create wealth. All the opportunities are there and so regardless of your race, age, area of residence, level of education, it is possible to create wealth. God has given every human being the ability to think using their brains. This is one basic difference between human beings and animals. There are times I come across statements on social media made by my fellow Nigerians who say with all the religion in Nigeria, why is the country still underdeveloped? The people who usually ask this question are those who believe religion is the cause of the problem in the world, especially in Africa. Such people also claim that in developed countries, there is not much focus on religion but a lot of progress is made by the governments of these countries especially as it concerns the welfare of citizens. There are many religions in the world. Majority of them emphasize right living and generosity towards others. In essence, they preach good works of men. However, while this is very good, one fundamental point is missing in all but ONE of these religions - these good works ALONE are unable to guarantee adherents entry into eternity in heaven. The ONE AND ONLY RELIGION that guarantees someone entry into eternity in heaven is CHRISTIANITY. How do I know this, you may ask, dear friend? Dear friends, today Saturday, February 14, 2015, many people in different parts of the world will celebrate Valentine's Day, also known as lovers' day. However, while some will engage in simple acts of love like sending greeting cards, flowers, gifts, etc, what many will engage in, especially unmarried people, are immoral and unholy acts - fornication, adultery, alcohol, drunkenness, etc. As usual, majority of those engaging in these acts are not bothered about the history of the feast of Valentine and have never bothered to find out - all they are interested in are the "fun" parts of the event.
