THE POWER IN THE NAME AND BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST (2)

Dear reader, in the first part of this post, we examined the reason why the name and blood of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ is the most potent in heaven, on earth, and the entire universe. If you have not read that post, I urge you sincerely to do so.

In that first post, I encouraged readers to plead the blood of Jesus over ANYONE AND ANYTHING - your family members, your work, business, health, education, finances, vehicle, home, friends, relatives, colleagues, acquaintances, clothing, food, etc etc. Plead the blood of Jesus over your soul and body, over everything and anything that concerns you - even over your perceived enemies without hating them as true Christians should behave (Matthew 5:43-48).

Call the name of Jesus into your life, into your heart, into your soul, into any project you want to undertake in life, into any circumstance you find yourself. The power in Jesus' name and blood is simply unbelievable.

Anyone who knows how to use this simple truth will ALWAYS be an overcomer in any situation, no matter how impossible the situation appears to be. Jesus Christ is the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, the Alpha, the Omega, the Beginning, the End, the First and the Last (Revelation 1:8), the Eternal Rock of Ages, the Ancient of Days, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, He is called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6).

Jesus Chirst is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8) and so He cannot fail and He cannot change.

Dear friend, it is pertinent to note that the name and blood of Jesus on its merit has the power to overcome any situation one encounters in life because God our Father has made it so in His love and mercy when Jesus shed His blood to reconcile man to God from sin of disobedience by Adam and Eve.

Anyone can use the name and blood of Jesus by faith to get astounding results. However, our focus in this blog is to win souls over to God's kingdom and expose the devices and deceit satan is using to draw souls to hell where he and his demons have been condemned to forever.

The question now is, of what benefit would it be to anyone who is able to use the name and blood of Jesus here on earth to achieve results and then end up in hell fire at the end of his or her stay here?

As our Lord Jesus clearly said in Matthew 7:21-23, "Not everyone who calls me 'Lord', 'Lord' will enter the Kingdom of heaven but only those who do what my Father in heaven wants them to do. When Judgement Day comes, many will say to me, 'Lord', 'Lord! In your name we drove out many demons and performed many miracles! Then I will say to them, "I never knew you. Get away from me, you wicked people!'

So you can see that anyone can use Jesus' name to perform miracles, but even so, not all of them would enter the Kingdom of heaven when the time comes, but only those who do the will of God the Father.

So what is the will of God the Father? It is FIRST AND FOREMOST, to love Him (God) above EVERYTHING ELSE in our lives and to love our neighbour as ourselves. Loving God above everything else means we MUST live our lives in the CONSCIOUS DECISION that God sees everything we do (Jeremiah 23:23-24) and therefore nothing is hidden from Him and we MUST avoid anything that does not bring glory to His Most Holy name.

Loving our neighbour as ourselves means anything we cannot do to ourselves or we do not wish ourselves, we simply avoid doing or wishing it to anyone else. The Ten Commandments of God (Exodus 20:1-17) is a summary of how we should relate to God and our fellow human beings.

This is how to do the will of the Father and how to enter heaven when we exit this world.

Dear friend, I know you want to live a happy life here on earth and at the end of this life to go be with the Lord Jesus in heaven. I just showed you how - use the name of Jesus and His precious blood in every situation and also obey His commandments and make Him Lord and Saviour of your life, and He is faithful to keep His Word and take you to meet Him at the appointed time.

Jesus Christ is the Word of God that became a human being and came to live with us humans (John 1:14). He is the best thing that can happen to you, I and anyone who knows His value and the need to have Him in our lives.

He is inviting you as you read this. Please do not turn down this opportunity of a lifetime as tomorrow or later may just be too late. Today I heard the sad news about someone who used to work with me in my office who passed on yesterday. He had been ill for sometime now and I recall recently reminding Him to accept the Lord Jesus as His Saviour and live a righteous life.

Though he claimed to be a Christian, I wouldn't know if He did accept Jesus in word and deed and I can tell you his fate has been determined now. For you and I who are still alive, we have the opportunity to avoid hell fire and go to heaven by our repentance of evil and wrong doing, rejection of satan and his demons, acceptance of Jesus as Lord and Saviour of our lives and asking His Holy Spirit to guide us to the truth about God.

No matter what you think, say or believe, Jesus Christ is Lord over everything in heaven and on earth and His say is final over this matter. I therefore urge you to accept Him now and experience His love over your life and share that experience with others who truly need it.
