THE LANGUAGE OF HEAVEN IS LOVE

God our Almighty Father is the Creator of the Universe, the Heavens, the earth and all that is in them. To Him alone be glory and honour forever and ever in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

Of all God's creation on this earth, human beings stand out as His most precious. The reason is simple - God created us out of His love for us. The Holy Bible tells us in Genesis 1:26-28, Then God said, "And now we will make human beings; they will be like us and resemble us.

They will have power over the fish, the birds, and all animals, domestic and wild, large and small." so God created human beings, making them to be like Himself. He created them male and female, blessed them and said, "Have many children, so that your descendants will live all over the earth and bring it under their control.

I am putting you in charge of the fish, the birds and all wild animals.

What we see here is God's love for humans to the extent that He created them to be like Himself- having a spirit and a soul. It means man has a mortal nature (earthly body) and an immortal nature, the spirit and soul unique to each person.

This is why those who claim that man evolved from apes are talking nonsense as ONLY humans were created in God's image and likeness and no other creature did the Father create that way.

This is also why the people who talk about re-incarnation are preaching doctrines of satan because every human being has a unique soul and spirit that goes back to God the creator to face judgement once the body dies and spirit and soul are separated from the body.

Coming back to why God created man, it is stated in Sacred Scriptures in Ecclesiastes 12:13, "After all this, there is only one thing to say: Have reverence for God, and obey His commands, because this is all that man was created for."

So God created humans out of love, created them like Himself and created them to also reciprocate that love for Him in worship and obedience to His commands. It is the same love God has for humans that made Him send His only begotten Son, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to die for sins of mankind when Adam and Eve disobeyed God when satan deceived them.

It is that same love that made God to give us His Word, the Holy Bible, for us to study, meditate and see why He created us, how much He loves us and why we must obey His commands if we are to live a peaceful and blessed life here on earth (Joshua 1:8)

It is that same love that makes God give us our Guardian Angels to protect us all the time from satan and his demons (fallen angels) who are always planning evil and trying to destroy mankind to disobey God and die and go to hell where they have been condemned FOREVER.

it is the same love that made the Lord Jesus Christ, the Messiah, the Word of God, the Son of God and God Himself to leave Heaven and come to earth to live like one of us and give His life up for us on the Cross of Calvary to destroy what satan did at the beginning (1 John 3:8).

It is the same love that makes God continue to remind us that there is a life hereafter and only those who have lived as He has commanded will spend eternity with Him in Heaven while those who have disobeyed His commands will spend eternity in hell with satan and his demons (Luke 13:23-30; Matthew 7:21-23).

It is the same love that makes God continue to minister to mankind via several media (His Holy Word, the Bible, Church, Television, Internet, Preachers, open air preaching, tracks, etc) so that no one will have an excuse to claim he or she never heard the Gospel or Good News of Repentance, forgiveness of sins and Salvation.

It is the same love that makes God, despite the amount of wickedness, sinfulness and wrongdoing in today's world, continue to reach out to all such people to repent and turn to Him SINCERELY so they will not miss eternity in heaven.

It is the same love God has for us that makes Him command us humans to love one another UNCONDITIONALLY as evidence that we are truly His children. True love has no conditions attached to it as God has commanded (John 15:11-12; 17; 1 Corinthians 13)

It is the same love that makes God command us to forgive one another as He has forgiven us with the death of our Messiah Jesus Christ on the Cross of Calvary for our sins (Matthew 6:14-15).

It is the same love that makes God command us to pray for our enemies and love those who persecute us to show that we are truly His disciples as Christians (Matthew 5:43-48).

It is the same love that makes God command us to show compassion to those who are in need and that whoever helps the poor lends to God and God will surely repay the kindness (Proverbs 19:17).

It is the same love that makes God tell us that anyone who abides in Him and His Words abide in that person, such person will ask for anything he or she wishes and it will be granted (John 15:7-8).

Dear friend, what else could be greater than such love? The Bible tells us in 1 John 4:16b, "God is love, and whoever lives in love lives in union with God and God lives in union with him."

Any teaching contrary to what God has said in His Word, the Holy Bible, on love, is not of Him. The Great Commandment, as our Lord Jesus Christ has told us is love of God with all our heart, mind and soul and love of our neighbour as ourselves (Matthew 22:34-40).

Dear friend, it is obvious from all these that God loves us so much, to the extent that He gave us His only Son, our Saviour Jesus Christ, to die for our sins so all who believe in Jesus Christ might not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16).

Let us reciprocate this love as He has commanded us. Let us forsake sinfulness, wickedness and all wrong doing no matter what it is and turn sincerely to God in repentance, accept the Lordship of Jesus Christ and by the power of the Holy Spirit begin the journey to love, peace, happiness and joy here on earth and eternal life in the hereafter.
