ARE YOU READY TO RECEIVE JESUS CHRIST?

Dear friend, in many parts of the world, people are hustling and bustling trying to raise money to celebrate the Christmas season.

Parents want to buy goodies for their kids, companies pay bonuses, and so much love and joy fills the air.

This is the good side of Christmas because this happens every year. This is also the material side of Christmas.

There is a spiritual side of Christmas, which is the real reason for the event people are celebrating. Christmas is about Christ Jesus, the Messiah and King of the Universe.

When Adam and Eve fell by satan's deceit and disobeyed God's command, mankind became separated from God by that single act of sin.

God loves man so much and sent His Only begotten Son to the world, to die for our sins and redeem mankind from eternal damnation in hell fire.

That Son of God is called Jesus Christ, the Messiah, Saviour Anointed. About Him the Bible declares in Isaiah 9:6 "Unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder.

And His name will be called Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."

What Christians the whole world celebrate at Christmas is the birth of Jesus Christ. However, it is sad to see most Christians celebrate the event in sin - they steal to raise money, drink alcohol, fornicate and engage in all sorts of vices.

One reason they do this is because unbelievers or non-Christians also engage in these vices and rather than remind them about the essence of Christmas, Christians join them in celebrating a significant event the wrong way.

Now, Jesus Christ has come in fulfilment of God's promise, He has died for our sins, reconciled mankind to God and has returned to His throne in heaven.

However, Jesus did promise to come back to take those who are ready, in Rapture, away to heaven before the Great Tribulation when God's presence would have departed this world and satan and his demons would unleash terror for 7 whole years on the entire world.

Jesus Christ has been warning mankind to repent of sin, unrighteousness and evil, to turn back to Him (Jesus Christ), accept Him WHOLEHEARTEDLY as Lord of our lives and live in obedience to His commands found ONLY in the Holy Bible, the only Word of God.

Now, dear friend, if Jesus Christ returns now as He has been warning and as He says He is returning NOW, are you ready to receive Him? Are you qualified to be taken away in Rapture?

The ONLY standard to know if you are indeed ready is the Word of God in the Holy Bible. While it is excellent to profess Christ Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, it is equally of importance to ensure that our life as Christians does not clash with God's Word because that would spell disaster for such persons.

Jesus Christ's return is IMMINENT. Nothing can stop His return because He is the Owner of the Universe and His decree is FINAL.

Dear friend, never, ever forget the essence of Christmas. Always be prepared because Christ Jesus will come at a time you do not expect (Matthew 24:42, 44).

If you die today, then Christ has returned because you will face judgement based on your lifestyle and God's Word in the Bible to determine your fate whether you qualify to enter heaven or hell FOREVER.

However, if you are still alive, then Jesus can come at any time. Are you ready to receive Him?

May the good Lord bless you as you heed His Word today, act on it and share with others in Jesus' Mighty Name, Amen.

HOW DO YOU CONTROL VIOLENCE IN PEOPLE?

Hebrews 12:14 (AMPC)  “ Strive to live in peace with everybody and pursue that consecration  and holiness without which no one will [ever] see the Lord.”   Dear people of God, I read sometime in December 2019 ago of a police inspector in Nigeria who shot and killed his colleague, a corporal, and the same shot injured another colleague, a deputy Superintendent of police after which the police inspector took his own life.   What could have led to such violence?   I also read of another unfortunate story of a lady killed December 25, 2019, Christmas Day, by her husband who had beaten her to a coma and then ran away after discovering what he had done. GOD CANNOT VIOLATE HIS WORD

  Psalm 89:34  “My covenant I will not violate, nor will I alter the utterance of My lips.” Dear people of God, today’s lead Bible text in Psalm 89:34 is a profound statement by God Almighty and Father of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. What this statement from God means is that there is nothing He has said in His Word that He will fail to perform.
