GENUINE SUCCESS BEGINS WITH JESUS CHRIST

Dear friend, I feel sad nowadays to see a lot of people suffering and struggling to get on with life. So many people live in fear and uncertainty and with news of world economies passing through rough times, this fear is on the increase.

Many are having increased blood pressure and tension runs in families trying to meet their financial demands.

In fact, 2015 has been severally predicted by financial experts and even Parsons as a year of difficulties for world economies.

What this means is that majority are going to be in severe emotional trauma with thoughts of where and how to meet their financial obligations - house rent, school fees, food, transportation, clothing, hospital bills, telephone bills, and so on and so forth.

Dear friend, if this is your current situation, then I have Good News for you. The Good News is that we have a God who created everyone and everything in the entire universe. 

This God has made it very clear in His written Word, the Holy Bible, that man (humans) shall not live by bread alone, but man (humans) shall live by every Word that He, God Almighty, has spoken.

What this means, dear friend, is that the SOLUTION to every human need, whether financial, emotional, psychological, spiritual, or material, lies in the Word of God.

Jesus Christ our Lord says in John 6:63-64a, "It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life. But there are some of you who do not believe."

Since Jesus Christ is the Word of God (John 1:1,14; 1 John 5:7; Revelation 19:13), it therefore follows that Jesus' Words are Spirit and Life.

As children of God, we have no business with challenges and struggles. However, God has favourites, which is Christians. A Christian is a follower of Jesus Christ not just by profession (word of mouth) but by deeds that are in obedience to God's written Word in the Bible.

When a Christian studies the Word of God, He is studying Jesus Christ and since humans shall live by every Word God has spoken, it means diligent study of God's Word will reveal open secrets to every human problem.

I call them open secrets because even though the written Word of God in the Holy Bible is readily available for everyone to reach and read, majority of Christians keep it in one corner of their homes and rush out everyday to struggle to meet one need or the other.

The secret solution to problems lies in their homes in the Holy Bible, and yet they look everywhere else for this solution.

One important lesson you will learn from the Holy Bible, dear friend, is that God is able to do all things (Matthew 19:26; Jeremiah 32:27). Since God is our Creator, it means He is able to meet our every need.

Another important lesson you learn from the Holy Bible is that the ONLY Way to reach God is by prayer through His Son our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, who came to earth to die for the sins of mankind to reconcile humans to God.

Jesus Christ is therefore, the Way, the Truth and the Life, and no man can come to God the Father except through Jesus Christ (John 14:6; 1 Timothy 2:5).

Another important lesson we get from the Holy Bible is that faith connects us to heaven where God's Throne is and where answers to prayers are given.

Faith means believing EVERYTHING that God has said in the Bible. Faith means being sure IN YOUR MIND of WHATEVER you want even if circumstances around you appear to say otherwise - what most people call reality.

In essence, your faith becomes your reality.

An important lesson we get from the Holy Bible is that without Jesus Christ, no human being can have lasting peace on earth - IT IS SIMPLY NOT POSSIBLE.

Finally, dear friend, one most important lesson to learn from the Bible, is that with someone having Jesus Christ as his or her Messiah, living a life in obedience to Jesus Christ's Word in the Bible, is a GUARANTEE for GENUINE SUCCESS in this life and a GUARANTEE to enter HEAVEN when one departs this earth in death into eternity.

In essence, dear friend, without living and dying in Jesus Christ, no man shall see God when he or she departs this world.

May the good Lord bless you as you heed His Word today, act on it and share with others in Jesus' Most Precious Name, Amen.

HOW DO YOU CONTROL VIOLENCE IN PEOPLE?

Hebrews 12:14 (AMPC)  “ Strive to live in peace with everybody and pursue that consecration  and holiness without which no one will [ever] see the Lord.”   Dear people of God, I read sometime in December 2019 ago of a police inspector in Nigeria who shot and killed his colleague, a corporal, and the same shot injured another colleague, a deputy Superintendent of police after which the police inspector took his own life.   What could have led to such violence?   I also read of another unfortunate story of a lady killed December 25, 2019, Christmas Day, by her husband who had beaten her to a coma and then ran away after discovering what he had done. GOD CANNOT VIOLATE HIS WORD

  Psalm 89:34  “My covenant I will not violate, nor will I alter the utterance of My lips.” Dear people of God, today’s lead Bible text in Psalm 89:34 is a profound statement by God Almighty and Father of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. What this statement from God means is that there is nothing He has said in His Word that He will fail to perform.
