FEAR NOT, ONLY BELIEVE!

Dear friend, there are many Christians out there who struggle every day to eke out a living. Many are struggling to pay bills and many are struggling to live a righteous life and earn a living at the same time.

Temptations to sin are rife round about them and it is so difficult not to yield to it. Or so it seems.

One of the greatest discoveries a Christian can make is how to properly apply faith to achieve results. Though this is simple to do, majority cannot fathom why it is so difficult.

The reason I say it is simple is because the answer lies in God's Word found ONLY in the Holy Bible.

So many people are caught up in the daily chores of life that they fail to give heed to the most important area of their lives - the spiritual.

Anyone who CONSTANTLY AND CONSISTENTLY reads, believes and applies God's Word in his or her life will get the same results.

Notice I said anyone because God did not create the world to favour any particular person. However, God will favour the individual who pays genuine attention to His Word and its application.

Our Lord Jesus Christ showed this clearly while on earth as a human being when He visited Martha and Mary, sisters of Lazarus in Bethany and while Martha was busy running around to serve the Lord, Mary, her sister sat at His feet listening to His Word.

The bible says in Luke 10:40-42 But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me.”

41 And Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. 42 But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.”

That was not the response Martha was expecting from our Lord Jesus Christ but the Lord gave that response to show that nothing in this life is more important than being in God's presence and listening to His Word.

Once you have read, understood and correctly applied the Word of God in the Bible, you will get the result anyone who does the same will get.

Fortunately for Christians, God's Word in the Bible is the most printed Resource available today. Unfortunately for most Christians, they usually ignore the Bible and where they apply its teachings, it is selective.

When you selectively apply God's Word, the results you get is selective. On the other hand, when you correctly apply God's Word consistently, the result you will get is consistent with your expectations.

Dear friend, Christians MUST repent of unbelief in God's Word. Their lives is driven more by fear of the unknown than by belief in God's Word.

If you understand this fact, your life will change for the better in every area.

The most complete instruction for proper living is found in ONLY one place - the Holy Bible (Matthew 4:4).

It is written in 2 Timothy 3:16-17, "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."

It is also written in Romans 15:4 "For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope."

A Christian has no business with fear, worry, doubt, health challenges, financial struggles, etc, if he or she is able to read and apply God's Word.

Therefore, as you read this, dear friend, I want you to know that God can do all things. If you believe that, then stop worrying and ask God to forgive you for not believing His Word in the Bible.

Then ask God to grant you wisdom through His Holy Spirit, always, before you read the Holy Bible where He will lead you to areas that affect your life directly.

Remember that it is God who has given us the message in the Bible so you do not have to try to analyse and reason what His Word says there whether it makes sense or not. If you do, that represents doubt and is a sin again.

Just obey and apply what His Word says and you will SURELY reap the promises or blessings contained therein.

Finally, I want to emphasize here that there is no other written book that is God's COMPLETE Word apart from the Holy Bible. Please do not be deceived if someone refers to another book as God's Word for that is a deceit from the pit of hell where satan and demons hold sway.

The ONLY acceptable way of life was far as God is concerned is Christianity and the instruction manual for Christians is found in the Holy Bible, the ONLY WORD OF GOD.

This is why the Lord Jesus Christ says to all Christians in Mark 16:15-18, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.

And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

If you obey what Jesus has said here, you will get the same results He has promised because His Word cannot fail. Anyone you share the Gospel with who believes will receive Divine power from heaven to perform miracles as Jesus has promised.

This is why Christians MUST share the Gospel with others and bring them from sin, and the road to HELL to grace and point the road to HEAVEN in Christ Jesus.
