GOD NEVER GIVES UP ON ANYONE
Dear
friend, when our Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins some 1,981 years ago on
the Cross of Calvary at Golgotha in Israel, He did it for everyone, regardless
of race, religion, gender, social status, economic status, political status,
level of education, etc.
Jesus
is our Creator as His Word, the Holy Bible tells us in John 1:3. He loves us so
much that even when the first man and woman Adam and Eve disobeyed Him at the
Garden of Eden, sinned and became disconnected from God, He still promised to
redeem mankind (Gen. 3:15).
He
kept that promise when He came to earth as a human being and gave His precious
life for mankind to reconcile us back to God the Father Almighty (Romans 5:10;
2 Cor. 5:18-19).
Many
people out there believe Jesus Christ is only for Christians. No! The Creator
cannot be for only Christians because He has told Christians to go and share
the Gospel or Good News of Repentance and Salvation with every creature (Mark
16:15).
God's
perfect will is for every human being to believe the Gospel and be saved. This
is why it is written in 2 Peter 3:9, "The
Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is
longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should
come to repentance."
What
this simply means, dear friend, is that God loves all of us and will never give
up on anyone.
God
uses different media to draw our attention to Himself. One of the most powerful
means God uses to reach everyone is the Gospel. If you look all over the world
today, the Gospel is being preached on television, radio, internet, newspapers,
tracks, books, door to door or street evangelism, etc.
God
is omniscient (all knowing) and He has set aside a day to judge everyone who
has rebelled against Him in this world (Acts 17:31).
Those
who rebel against God are those who live in outright disregard of the TRUTH of
what God has revealed to mankind in His Word in the Holy Bible.
Unless
someone reads the Bible to know what God has said, it is difficult to live a
blameless life by God's standards in the Bible.
Therefore,
God continues to ensure everyone hears the Good News of Repentance and
Salvation and anyone who is fortunate enough to believe and accept the Gospel
or Good News will save himself or herself from eternal damnation.
The
final decision lies with us and not with God. God has done His part and
revealed what we need to know and He makes this revelation available to
everyone.
As
I write this, dear friend, God is making this same revelation known to you and
He requires you to believe His revelation in the Holy Bible, repent of sin and
evil, confess it, receive Jesus Christ into your life and commit to serve and
obey Jesus all the remaining days of your life.
God
will never give up on you till you leave this world when it will then become
late to act. So please make up your mind now.
Today
and now is the time, for tomorrow or later may be too late.
May
the good Lord bless you as you heed His Word today, act on it and share with
others in Jesus' Mighty Name, Amen.
Gabriel
Ama.
