WE ARE LIVING IN THE END OF AGE TIMES

Matthew 24:36-39

“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be."

Dear people of God, Bible scholars believe it took Noah between 80 – 100 years to build the Ark God commanded (Gen. 5:32; 6;18; 7:1,6).

The size of the Ark as God commanded was 300 cubits (138 metres) in length, 50 cubits (23 metres) in width and 30 cubits (14 metres) in height (Gen.6:15). In today’s comparison, that would be the length and width of a standard football pitch and height more than a 3-storey building. That was massive.

Now with this in mind, you could be sure the people around must have flocked to Noah to ask questions as to what he was doing building such a large structure and when Noah told them God was going to destroy the world due to sin and corruption, the people must have laughed and mocked Noah.

Of course they went on in their corrupt ways eating, drinking, marrying, stealing, cheating, ogling etc, and must have really mocked Noah the very day he and his family entered the ark.

God then sent continuous rain for 40 days and nights until everything that breathes air through nostrils was covered in flood and completed annihilated (Gen. 7:12,22-23).

Though the people must have realised the severity of the matter, it was too late to repent and make amends.

Dear friend, we are living in the same era called the end of the Church age. Our Lord Jesus Christ has said His second coming will be just like when Noah entered the Ark and God destroyed the world.

Jesus made it clear that no one, not even the Angels know the day or hour but only God the Father. But the signs are there just like Jesus tells us in Matthew 24 as we are witnessing today.

Today, we see the Gospel of Christ being preached via several media, online and offline in different parts of the world as a witness (Matt 24:14).

We also see all over the world false prophets preaching destructive doctrines (Matt.24:11) and doctrines of demons, deceiving many (1 Tim.4:1) and people supporting error in large numbers, thus making God give them over to a debased mind (Rom.1:28).

We see preachers commit and support divorce, adultery tattoos, pornography, covetousness, cheating, lying, and immorality of various shades and kinds.

Today we see lesbians, gays, bi-sexuals and transgender coming out openly, claiming they were born that way and people supporting them, when God’s law is clear that such people will never see His Kingdom (1 Corinthians 6:9). Some of them are even ordained as priests!!!

We see people in different parts of the world hating Christians and labeling the preaching of truth of God’s Word in the Holy Bible as hate speech (Matt. 24:9).

We see the western nations outlaw Christian prayer, the use of the Holy Bible and anything that depicts God’s laws in public and government buildings.

We see Islamic state in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) who are agents of satan, beheading and crucifying Christians all in the name of propagating their false religious beliefs and claiming to be serving God (John 16:1-2).

We see Al Shabab in East Africa, Boko Haram in West Africa, Al-Qaeda in Middle East, Taliban in Afghanistan and Pakistan and many other agents of satan all engaged in the same evil mission of killing Christians and others all in the name of their god.

We hear of earthquakes, wars and rumours of wars, famine, aeroplane crashes, pestilences in different parts of world (Matt.24:6-7) – Indonesia, Malaysia, Nepal, Haiti.

We see escalating fights between Palestinians and Israelis over the land God gave thousands of years ago to Abraham, the father of the Israelis.

We see Arabs wanting by force to take over Jerusalem, the capital city of Israel and the Holy Place of God and which they will soon take over in what the Bible has described as abomination of desolation standing in the holy place (Matt.24:15).

We see today financial and world commerce inching slowly towards the phase where the mark of the beast would be given to people on their right hands or foreheads without which they cannot buy or sell anything (Revelation 13:16-17).

Indeed, there will be eternal consequences for anyone who takes the mark of the beast – Rev.14:9-11.

Dear friend, I have taken time to list the end of age events with Bible texts to back it up. Most people are waiting for a one-time event to happen without taking time to pay attention to what is currently happening around them.

As long as you refuse to read God’s Word in the Holy Bible and pay attention to the preachers of the Gospel according to God’s Word, it would be difficult to escape the wrath of God that is imminent.

Jesus is coming NOW. Today, and NOW, is the day to receive Jesus into your life, for tomorrow or later may be too late.
