SERVING JESUS CHRIST MAY SEEM OPTIONAL ON EARTH BUT IS COMPULSORY TO ENTER HEAVEN

Dear friend, we are at a point in human history where our Lord and Saviour spoke about false prophets, false teachers and false messiahs with some claiming to be He, Jesus Christ.

Jesus says in Matthew 24:4 “Take heed that no one deceives you. 5For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many."

We are in that era because today we have many religions, many claims of doctrine and counter doctrines, many beliefs and many ideas but our Lord Jesus says in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."

The truth is, anyone can make any claim about being the spiritual messiah but we must all understand one vital point - Jesus Christ is the ONLY Person who made stunning claims and backed it up with outstanding miracles!

Jesus says He is the Son of God and by that claim attested to His Divinity and made Himself equal with God the Father Almighty. The same Jesus Christ who says this while on earth as a human being performed some outstanding miracles:

(1) He turned water into wine, His first miracle (John 2:1-11).

(2) He walked on water (Matthew 14:22-33).

(3) He spoke to the winds and water waves and they obeyed Him (Mark 4:35-41).

(4) The power from His body as a result of just a simple touch healed a woman who suffered a haemorrhage for 12 years

(5) He cursed a fig tree and it withered (Mark 11:12-14, 20-21).

(6) He raised the dead severally (Luke 7:11-17; Mark 5:35-43; John 11:38-44).

Since death is considered as final for human beings, these particular miracles of Jesus of raising the dead to life shows the authority He has, even over death.

These are just some of the miracles Jesus performed and I tell you dear friend, there is no other person who can claim to be the Son of God and perform such miracles to back the claim.

I personally have read from the Holy Bible, believed the Word of God and experienced the goodness of our Lord Jesus Christ in my life.

I therefore choose to serve Him because I know He cannot mislead me because He created the whole universe including me and all human beings (John 1:3) and He did it for love for us.

Dear friend, if anyone comes to tell you something else about another person other than Jesus Christ, the simple question you should ask is if such person can back the claim with the same miracles our Lord Jesus Christ performed.

The beauty of this life and the power of God is that Jesus Christ made it clear that those who believe in Him will perform even greater miracles than He did using His Name (John 14:12-14).

Dear friend, this is evidence from Jesus Christ and many Christian believers have proved it over and over again in their lives and lives of others. I have personally proven it over and over again as well because the Power of Jesus Christ Who is God is real and active.

So, tell whoever tells you about another person or false messiah to back it up with miracles just like Jesus Christ.

Now, please note that serving Jesus Christ here on earth is optional for others but compulsory for all Christians.

However, the ONLY WAY for a Christian and any other person to enter heaven at the end of life here on earth is to believe and accept the Divinity or Sonship of Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. 

The person must believe that Jesus died on the Cross of Calvary for the sins of mankind and He resurrected 3 days later as proof that He is the Messiah.

The person MUST also be a doer of God's Word and not just a hearer (James 1:22-24).

Dear friend, now that you have read, now that you know, now that it is clear, what else do you need to convince you?

Please decide today and NOW, for tomorrow and later may be too late. Accept Jesus Christ today and NOW, for He is coming soon.

May the good Lord bless you as you heed His Word today, act on it and share with others in Jesus' Glorious Name, Amen.

HOW DO YOU CONTROL VIOLENCE IN PEOPLE?

Hebrews 12:14 (AMPC)  “ Strive to live in peace with everybody and pursue that consecration  and holiness without which no one will [ever] see the Lord.”   Dear people of God, I read sometime in December 2019 ago of a police inspector in Nigeria who shot and killed his colleague, a corporal, and the same shot injured another colleague, a deputy Superintendent of police after which the police inspector took his own life.   What could have led to such violence?   I also read of another unfortunate story of a lady killed December 25, 2019, Christmas Day, by her husband who had beaten her to a coma and then ran away after discovering what he had done. GOD CANNOT VIOLATE HIS WORD

  Psalm 89:34  “My covenant I will not violate, nor will I alter the utterance of My lips.” Dear people of God, today’s lead Bible text in Psalm 89:34 is a profound statement by God Almighty and Father of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. What this statement from God means is that there is nothing He has said in His Word that He will fail to perform.
