THE ONLY GENUINE WAY TO GREAT WEALTH AND RICHES

Dear friend, it is written in God's Word in Deuteronomy 8:18a, “And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth"

We are also told in Proverbs 10:22, "The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it."

What should be clear to anyone who reads the two Bible verses above is that GENUINE wealth and riches comes only from God Almighty.

This is because it is God who gives the power to get wealth and when He does, He does not add sorrow with it.

Now, there are people who claim to be self-made millionaires or billionaires, who ignorantly ascribe to themselves the glory that belongs solely to the God who created them.

There are also those, which is very common in Africa, who engage in killing and use of body parts of their fellow human beings in evil rituals to make money.

There are those who engage in crime and prostitution to make money. We have armed robbers, fraudsters, swindlers, cheats, embezzlers of funds from place of work, and all manner of crooks engaging in nefarious activities in a bid to earn a living.

In all the preceding cases of money making involving self-glory, prostitution or criminal activities, the end result for such people is always a life filled with fights, problems within family, business associates, employers/employees, and so on and so forth that involves spending money to resolve.

Such people never seem to find the peace of mind they need even when they had thought it would come with money. This is why someone has aptly written a number of things that money cannot buy.

Money surely cannot buy peace of mind, nor brains nor excellent health nor wisdom nor successful marriage nor successful business.

In some countries especially in the first world, money cannot buy justice for criminal acts.

So, if money cannot buy all these things, why then do people go all out to engage in the wrong things just to get money?

It is because of ignorance, no more, no less. God says in Hosea 4:6a "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge."

When one lacks wisdom from God, the person will always engage in wrong doing, without realizing that there is an ETERNAL consequence for wrong doing, which is, to spend the rest of one's existence after death in HELL FIRE with satan the father of lies and his demons.

Dear friend, let no one deceive you - there is only one way to get wealth GENUINELY without sorrow and that is wealth God gives you.

Now, again, this is where the challenge remains for those who want to try the option of obtaining genuine wealth from God. There are those who believe no one can ever find genuine wealth without engaging in wrong doing.

As you would realize from the first two bible texts in this post, this idea is at variance with God's Word because God gives wealth and adds no sorrow to it. God would certainly not allow His child to engage in wrong doing to get wealth.

There are also those who believe wealth is wrong. God cannot give you what is wrong because He is a loving Father who gives only good and perfect gifts to His children (James 1:17). So if God gives wealth, then wealth cannot be wrong.

This is also why God gave us the perfect Lamb of our Lord Jesus Christ to die for our sins on the Cross of Calvary to reconcile us to God.

There are also those who know wealth is good, wealth is from God, who want God's blessings but are not ready to invest their resources in God's service.

Our Lord Jesus Christ says in Luke 6:38, "Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”

God says in Malachi 3:8-12, “Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed Me! But you say, ‘In what way have we robbed You?’ In tithes and offerings.

You are cursed with a curse, For you have robbed Me, Even this whole nation.

Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this,” says the Lord of hosts,

“If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it.

“And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, so that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,” says the Lord of hosts;

“And all nations will call you blessed, for you will be a delightful land,” says the Lord of hosts.”

 Dear friend, God clearly says there is a curse on all who do not pay tithes. Anyone placed under God's curse has no hope in this world and when he or she exits this world at death - the consequence is HELL FIRE. FOREVER.

On the other hand, God promises a blessing for those who pay their tithes. A tithe is just 10% of your income as a salary earner or 10% of your profit as a business person.

Many people, especially Christians, unfortunately see tithe as an expense and not as an investment in God's business.

Tithe is a command from God so it is not negotiable (Leviticus 27:30-34; Numbers 18:26-28; Deuteronomy 14:22-27; 26:12). Tithe is used to facilitate the work of the Gospel of sharing the Good News of Repentance and Salvation with those who are yet to hear it.

Tithe is also used to undertake church projects like building new worship centers in other areas, helping the poor and needy.

Tithe is also used to sustain the pastor of the church who has been called by God and commanded to shepherd God's people, preach the Gospel and be a light to a world filled with darkness of sin and evil.

Now, think about it, dear friend, if no one paid tithes, how would the work of the Gospel continue? This is why a Christian must pay tithes. 

And this is why those who say and teach that paying tithes is old testament practice and does not apply now are offending God and are in danger of going to HELL unless they repent and recant their wrong doctrine.

There are those who argue that the pastor steals the tithes for personal use and so they refuse to pay. There are those who say they use the money meant for their tithes to help the less priviledged and poor in their neighbourhood.

While these may sound as credible excuses, remember, that it is God who has commanded us to pay tithes and it is just 10% of our income. So why is it difficult for you to take a small share of the remaining 90% of your income for use to help the poor and needy?

There are also those who say their income is too small and so they cannot pay tithes of just 10% because nothing will be left from 90% to meet their needs.

Such people forget that it is God who has given them the power to get the wealth. It is the same God who has given them life, given them health, and even the work or business they are doing.

This is one major reason why so many Christians are struggling to grow financially. It is not because God is not ready to bless Him, but it is because they cannot make up their minds to receive the blessing.

You make up your mind to receive God's blessing when you obey His command by first paying your tithes and subsequently contributing to other projects in furtherance of the Gospel. 

10% of every single monetary gift you receive outside of your legitimate income belongs to God because it is an increase.

But please make sure this monetary gift is also from a legitimate source for it will be of no consequence if it is from a wrong source. This is why you must depend on God only and not on man, for God will bring your way only qualified people and groups to bless you.

What is worse for some, is that there are those who preach as I'm doing now on the importance of paying tithes but who do not pay their own tithes!! How hypocritical could that be?

Such people are only offending God the more because you cannot be judging others on not paying tithes and not think that you are judging yourself when God's Word clearly talks about such things in Matthew 7:1-2.

Dear friend, my life is a living example of the value of obeying God, paying tithes and contributing to the work of the Gospel in any small way possible.

I was once living in ignorance and complaining about the numerous requests for money from the Church I attended.

Little did I know that I was offending God, placing a curse on myself and hindering my ability to grow financially. In the midst of my foolishness in disobeying God, I was still struggling financially with little or nothing to show for it.

God then showed me mercy through a powerful testimony and made me realize the danger in which I was putting myself in.

I then repented, asked God for forgiveness, and promised to clear all my debts including the ones I never paid all along since I started earning a wage.

Dear friend, as I write, I can testify that God gave me the resources to clear all debts to Him and I did that by increasing the percentage of my tithes above the mandatory 10%. 

I also currently contribute more including financially to the work of the Gospel and I am no more struggling financially.

If this is my testimony from obeying such a loving God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, what then is that circumstance that would arise to make me disobey God, stop paying tithes, hinder my financial blessings and then die to go to HELL FIRE FOREVER when I exit this world? Absolutely nothing!

If you are reading this and are guilty of not paying tithes or contributing to the work of the Gospel especially financially, the day and time to repent is today and now, for tomorrow or later may be too late.

A lot of people are languishing in HELL FIRE now, begging God for mercy and forgiveness and a chance to come back to this world to make restitution by paying their debts to God through tithes and offerings. However, the response they get is always that IT IS NOW TOO LATE.

You who are living and reading this, have the opportunity to make restitution as I did and start enjoying God's Divine blessings here on earth and then enter HEAVEN to enjoy the highest level of blessing kept for those who love God.

Please take today's message seriously for as the Bible says in Proverbs 3:7-8 "Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and depart from evil. It will be health to your flesh, and strength to your bones."

The truth is, you cannot make it GENUINELY and obtain great wealth in this world outside of obeying God's command to pay your tithes and invest in the work of the Gospel. 

My spouse and I are living examples that this works for us and for everyone because it is God who has made it that way and God cannot lie and God cannot fail to keep His Word (Numbers 23:19).
