UNGODLY FASHION IN TODAY’S WORLD

Genesis 3:7,21 – 
7 "Then the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves apron like girdles.

21 For Adam also and for his wife the Lord God made long coats (tunics) of skins and clothed them.

Dear people of God, today’s lead Bible texts show events after Adam and Eve disobeyed God’s commands not to eat the fruit of the tree in the middle of the garden of Eden."

Adam and Eve on realizing they were naked sewed leaves together and made apron like girdles to cover their nakedness.

God Almighty even after pronouncing judgment on them for disobedience made LONG coats (tunics) of skins to clothe them.

This was when it was just Adam and Eve, just two people in the entire world, for every other human being is descended from them – Acts 17:26.

In today’s world, we are daily assaulted with visual images of all manner of ungodly and immoral attires, dressing and fashion especially amongst females.

We see immorally dressed ladies on the streets, in offices, in retail stores, and even in Churches!! Today, ladies walk the streets wearing tight trousers, leggings, pants, bikini, spaghetti, shorts, micro mini-skirts, see through gowns, etc.

What is even all the more sad is that most of these females clad in immoral attires are quick to call on God and refer to Him as their Father.

How can God Who in the beginning made LONG coats for Adam and Eve to cover their nakedness when it was only 2 of them in the entire world be the Father of half naked and immorally dressed ladies?

God says He does not change – Malachi 3:6 and He is the same yesterday, today and forever – Hebrews 13:8, which means He can never lower His standard of righteousness and holiness.

God is neither unjust nor partial – Romans 2:11.

When our Lord Jesus Christ appeared to the Sierra Leonean lady Linda Rika (nee Ngaujah) in 2012, He told her majority of the people in HELL are women and what is taking them there is Fashion.

Jesus further said that any woman who wears trousers (Deuteronomy 22:5) or uses hair attachment will not enter heaven even if she is the wife of a General Overseer of a Church Ministry.

Dear friend, let me make one thing very clear here – even if you feel offended at what is written here, be sure that such constitutes an offence to God and it can land you in HELL unless you repent.

As Christians mandated to preach the Gospel – Mark 16:15-16, we will not shy away from telling the truth of God’s Word as contained in the Holy Bible because God wants everyone saved and no one to perish in HELL – 2 Peter 3:9; Romans 2:4-5.

Are you a preacher of the Gospel and you do not correct immorally dressed ladies and men in your congregation? Repent today and begin to tell them the truth because preachers of the Gospel will face a stricter judgment on that Day of Judgment – James 3:1.

Let all therefore warn ourselves and pay attention to God’s Word in Deuteronomy 10:17, “So now let the reverence and fear of the Lord be upon you; take heed what you do, for there is no injustice with the Lord our God, or partiality or taking of bribes.”

Dear friends and especially ladies, Jesus’ coming is imminent. Please do not be caught in sin and do not say nobody told you. I repeat, God will never lower His standard for anyone who is found wanting.

May the good Lord bless you as you heed His Word today, act on it and share with others in Jesus’ Most Holy Name, Amen.

HOW DO YOU CONTROL VIOLENCE IN PEOPLE?

Hebrews 12:14 (AMPC)  “ Strive to live in peace with everybody and pursue that consecration  and holiness without which no one will [ever] see the Lord.”   Dear people of God, I read sometime in December 2019 ago of a police inspector in Nigeria who shot and killed his colleague, a corporal, and the same shot injured another colleague, a deputy Superintendent of police after which the police inspector took his own life.   What could have led to such violence?   I also read of another unfortunate story of a lady killed December 25, 2019, Christmas Day, by her husband who had beaten her to a coma and then ran away after discovering what he had done. GOD CANNOT VIOLATE HIS WORD

  Psalm 89:34  “My covenant I will not violate, nor will I alter the utterance of My lips.” Dear people of God, today’s lead Bible text in Psalm 89:34 is a profound statement by God Almighty and Father of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. What this statement from God means is that there is nothing He has said in His Word that He will fail to perform. A sensible Christian who understands this will look for what God has said by careful, meditative study of God’s Word found only in the Holy Bible, thank God joyously for it, claim it and God will surely perform what His Word has stated.
