THE END IS IMMINENT
Romans 13:11-12 (AMP)
Besides this you know what [a critical] hour this is, how it is high time now for you to wake up out of your sleep (rouse to reality). For salvation (final deliverance) is nearer to us now than when we first believed (adhered to, trusted in, and relied on Christ, the Messiah).
12 The night is far gone and the day is almost here. Let us then drop (fling away) the works and deeds of darkness and put on the [full] armor of light.
Dear people of God, it is critical for us to assess our lives in line with God’s Word in the Holy Bible to be sure we are not found wanting.
A lot of people who profess Christianity nowadays are leading extremely ungodly lives and carrying on as if nothing is wrong!
Our Lord Jesus Christ continues to warn but most are not paying attention. Jesus is using different media to send His messages of warning that His second coming is imminent, but majority are so busy chasing wealth and worldly pleasures and sinning in the process.
It is pertinent to note that God gave the people in Noah’s time a whole generation, some 100 years (Genesis 5:32, 7:6-7) to repent, during which time Noah built the ark, but they mocked Noah until the day the Lord’s Word came to pass and they were destroyed with the flood.
The same signs are obvious today with most people going against Christians, labeling them as haters, extremists, judgmental etc, without listening to what they are saying in line with God’s Word.
Dear friends, only few will escape the wrath coming upon this world and it is those who are joined to Christ Jesus in spirit and truth.
God will never lower His standards for anyone no matter who you are – Romans 2:11. His standards are contained in His Word in the Holy Bible. If you say God should speak to you before you believe, read His commandments in the Holy Bible and He would have spoken to you.
If you choose to ignore His Word in the Holy Bible, it is the same Word therein that would be used to judge every human being living on this earth presently and since the time you first heard the Gospel message of repentance and salvation – John 12:47-50. So there is no escape or excuse.
Please save yourself. Repent today and now of sins and evil, confess and turn from them to accept Jesus Christ wholeheartedly, for tomorrow may be too late.
