YOU HAVE AUTHORITY OVER SATAN AND DEMONS

Luke 10:19 (AMP) 

“Behold! I have given you authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and [physical and mental strength and ability] over all the power that the enemy [possesses]; and nothing shall in any way harm you.”

Dear friends, I am currently reading a book written by the late Pastor/Evangelist Kenneth E. Hagin.

In this book, the pastor spoke about a revelation he got from our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus told him that He has delegated His authority on earth to the Church and so praying to God for help against the devices of the devil here on earth was a waste of time.

Jesus also made it clear that there is no where in the Holy Bible where it is stated that the Church or an individual on earth should call on God to handle demonic influences HERE ON EARTH.

Jesus says He can only work through the Church to deal with satanic influences ON EARTH because the Authority over satan He has given to the Church.

Unfortunately, most Christians do not understand this fact and allow themselves to be oppressed by satan and demonic influences.

However, it must be noted that this authority over satan and demonic influences can only be accomplished using the name of Jesus Christ, the Word of God and not by any other name or means.

Immediately the demon receives a command in the name of Jesus Christ, it must obey. The reason is simple: God’s Word tells us in Philippians 2:9-11, Therefore [because He (Jesus Christ) stooped so low] God has highly exalted Him and has freely bestowed on Him the name that is above every name,

10 That in (at) the name of Jesus every knee should (must) bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,

11 And every tongue [frankly and openly] confess and acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Dear friend, there is therefore no DEMONIC force on this earth that can withstand the power and authority in the name of Jesus Christ.

That said, it is equally pertinent to note that because you are able to use the name of Jesus Christ to get demons to succumb is not a guarantee that you are in right standing with God.

Indeed, anyone who is not born again can use the name of Jesus to command demons to flee because it is the power in the name of Jesus that gets the job done and not the person using the name.

A typical example is seen in Mark 9:38-39 where Jesus’ disciples told Him of a man who was not one of them casting out demons using Jesus’ name.

What qualifies anyone to be in right standing with God is seen in Luke 10:20 “Nevertheless, do not rejoice at this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are enrolled in heaven.”

This was Jesus’ admonition to His disciples that rather than get excited that the spirits (demons) are subject to their commands using His name (Jesus), they should rejoice that their names were enrolled in heaven.

For your name to be enrolled in heaven, you must be born again, meaning, you must become a new person having repented of sin and evil, confessed and forsaken them, accepted Jesus Christ as Messiah and now live a life sincerely in strict obedience to God’s commands in the Holy Bible.

There is no other way to get your name enrolled in heaven outside of what I have stated in the preceding paragraph.

So, if you must enjoy your God given authority over ALL demonic influences HERE ON EARTH and still enter heaven when you leave this world, I have just showed you the way.

Dear friend, Jesus loves you. Jesus died for you and all mankind to bequeath us these unimaginable gifts. Do not throw it away because of sinful pleasures of this world and risk your eternity.
