HOW TO ACCURATELY PREDICT YOUR FUTURE

When I was younger and living in ignorance, I used to check out horoscopes for the period in which I was born to see what it said about me and my future.

Even though I wasn't sure I was doing the right thing, every now and then I looked for it to read in newspapers and magazines.

When by God's grace I surrendered my life to Jesus Christ as my Lord and Messiah, His Word in the Holy Bible made me understand that there is a best way of accurately predicting one's future without error.

Dear friend, notice I said there is a best way and not better way. I say best because it is the only accurate determinant of a person's future.

Every human born into this world has two futures - one on earth in this life and one at death in the hereafter. I know of some ethnic nationalities in my country who visit witch doctors and fortune tellers to reveal to them what their future holds.

God makes it clear in Leviticus 19:26,31,  You shall not eat anything with the blood; neither shall you use magic, omens, or witchcraft [or predict events by horoscope or signs and lucky days].  Turn not to those [mediums] who have familiar spirits or to wizards; do not seek them out to be defiled by them. I am the Lord your God.

God further tells us in Leviticus 20:6, "The person who turns to those who have familiar spirits and to wizards, [being unfaithful to Israel's Maker Who is her Husband, and thus] playing the harlot after them, I will set My face against that person and will cut him off from among his people [that he may not be included in the atonement made for them]."

Since it is clear that God totally forbids consulting with fortune tellers, necromancers and mediums to determine one's future, I will now tell you what God permits.

Let us examine what the Lord Jesus Christ reminded us of in Matthew 4:4,  But He (Jesus Christ) replied, It has been written, Man shall not live and be upheld and sustained by bread alone, but by every Word that comes forth from the mouth of God. [Deut. 8:3.]

Man is sustained not by bread alone but by every Word God has spoken. So the individual who wants to accurately predict his or her future should consult God's Word found only in the Holy Bible in diligent and consistent study.

When you do, you will discover what God wants and what God forbids and as long as you sincerely, wholeheartedly and genuinely do what God wants, your future is guaranteed to be bright here on earth and indeed, once you depart this world at death, you will enter heaven and live forever with God.

At this point, I will tell you the most important thing that God has told us in His Word. We find it in Acts 17:29-31,  "Since then we are God's offspring, we ought not to suppose that Deity (the Godhead) is like gold or silver or stone, [of the nature of] a representation by human art and imagination, or anything constructed or invented.

30 Such [former] ages of ignorance God, it is true, ignored and allowed to pass unnoticed; but now He charges all people everywhere to repent (to change their minds for the better and heartily to amend their ways, with abhorrence of their past sins),

31 Because He has fixed a day when He will judge the world righteously (justly) by a Man Whom He has destined and appointed for that task, and He has made this credible and given conviction and assurance and evidence to everyone by raising Him from the dead."

The Man God is referring to in His Word here is our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

There is no way to live right and have a guaranteed future of great things here on earth and after life on this earth without Jesus Christ. It is simply not possible.

Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life - John 14:6.

Dear friend, by God's grace I have just showed you the best way to accurately predict your future. It is only in Christ Jesus this is possible and no one else - Acts 4:12. Surrender your life sincerely to Jesus Christ Who alone can save you.

Today and now is the moment of decision for you as you read this, for tomorrow or later may be too late.

Jesus Christ is coming very soon. Jesus Christ is coming very very soon. Jesus Christ is coming very very very soon.

Only those who are ready to receive Him will be happy once He comes for He will take them away in Rapture and leave here on earth the others who are not ready because of sin and unrighteous living and satan will certainly deal with them in a terrible way never imagined before, for 7 years called the Great Tribulation.

May the good Lord bless you as you heed His Word today, act on it and share with others in Jesus' Most Righteous Name, Amen.

HOW DO YOU CONTROL VIOLENCE IN PEOPLE?

Hebrews 12:14 (AMPC)  “ Strive to live in peace with everybody and pursue that consecration  and holiness without which no one will [ever] see the Lord.”   Dear people of God, I read sometime in December 2019 ago of a police inspector in Nigeria who shot and killed his colleague, a corporal, and the same shot injured another colleague, a deputy Superintendent of police after which the police inspector took his own life.   What could have led to such violence?   I also read of another unfortunate story of a lady killed December 25, 2019, Christmas Day, by her husband who had beaten her to a coma and then ran away after discovering what he had done. GOD CANNOT VIOLATE HIS WORD

  Psalm 89:34  “My covenant I will not violate, nor will I alter the utterance of My lips.” Dear people of God, today’s lead Bible text in Psalm 89:34 is a profound statement by God Almighty and Father of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
