THE GOD THAT DOETH WONDERS

The Holy Bible records many signs and wonders that the God and Father of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ performed up till the time the Apostles and Disciples of Jesus went about sharing the gospel in the Acts of the Apostles.

In today's world, it does appear that miracles, signs and wonders have reduced or ceased completely. There are many who believe God does not perform miracles anymore.

This erroneous idea and thinking about our God has further encouraged many to doubt the existence of God and even encouraged many to go into idolatry and very many others to remain in idolatry.

God tells us in Malachi 3:6a, "For I am the Lord, I do not change;" We are further told in Hebrews 13:8, "Jesus Christ (the Messiah) is [always] the same, yesterday, today, [yes] and forever (to the ages)."

If God does not change, it means what He does remain the same. It therefore means that miracles, signs and wonders do happen even till this very day.

I personally know this for a fact because God in His infinite mercy has shown me a number of such miracles in my lifetime.

Most importantly, the Lord Jesus made a specific profound statement in Mark 16:17-18, "And these attesting signs will accompany those who believe: in My name (Jesus) they will drive out demons; they will speak in new languages;

18 They will pick up serpents; and [even] if they drink anything deadly, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will get well."

Dear friend, what this means is that a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ can use the name of Jesus Christ to perform signs and wonders. 

The reason this is possible is because God has made it so as a proof that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and God Himself!

I want to make it clear that signs and wonders against evil and all powers of darkness can ONLY be performed in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and in no other name else.

This is evident in Acts 4:11-12, "This [Jesus] is the Stone which was despised and rejected by you, the builders, but which has become the Head of the corner [the Cornerstone]. [Ps. 118:22.]

12 And there is salvation in and through no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by and in which we must be saved."

If you reading this are not a believer in Jesus Christ, you can prove what Jesus has said in Mark 16:18 as I have just written above by becoming a believer.

If you remain an unbeliever, this is dangerous because you expose yourself to a lot of dangers in this world and if you die an unbeliever, there is life after death and only those who believe in Jesus Christ will spend it in eternal bliss while those who reject Jesus Christ and die in that state will spend the afterlife in eternal damnation!

Eternal damnation is an extremely unpleasant, disgusting and horrifying life spent forever in HELL FIRE.

The danger in refusing to be a believer in Jesus Christ here on earth is that satan, the father of lies and evil can and will constantly attack such a person.

On the other hand, the believer in Jesus Christ may be exposed to similar dangers but will always be victorious over such evils as long as he or she is steadfast in faith in knowing, trusting and serving Jesus Christ.

Dear friend, I cannot see any reason why someone would refuse to believe in Jesus Christ after reading this message. I cannot imagine a life without Jesus Christ, the God that doeth wonders.

Jesus has shown me evidence of His existence in the way He has blessed and prospered me and taken me through very difficult situations with victory every single time.

I invite you to come experience the same signs and wonders Jesus ALONE can do for you and every other person who believes as He has promised and I know Jesus cannot fail.

May the good Lord bless you as you heed His Word today, act on it and share with others in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

HOW DO YOU CONTROL VIOLENCE IN PEOPLE?

Hebrews 12:14 (AMPC)  “ Strive to live in peace with everybody and pursue that consecration  and holiness without which no one will [ever] see the Lord.”   Dear people of God, I read sometime in December 2019 ago of a police inspector in Nigeria who shot and killed his colleague, a corporal, and the same shot injured another colleague, a deputy Superintendent of police after which the police inspector took his own life.   What could have led to such violence?   I also read of another unfortunate story of a lady killed December 25, 2019, Christmas Day, by her husband who had beaten her to a coma and then ran away after discovering what he had done. GOD CANNOT VIOLATE HIS WORD

  Psalm 89:34  “My covenant I will not violate, nor will I alter the utterance of My lips.” Dear people of God, today’s lead Bible text in Psalm 89:34 is a profound statement by God Almighty and Father of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. What this statement from God means is that there is nothing He has said in His Word that He will fail to perform.
