GOD'S WORD IS PRICELESS

Dear friend, if you have been following my posts over time, you would have noticed the messages are now centered around a theme - the value of God's Word.

You see, by God's grace I have come to realize the power and value in God's Word. It's not that God's Word has not always been powerful; it is when Jesus draws you to see the power in His Word that you would understand the value in it.

There is nothing in this world that is more important than the Word of God. God's Word has a life of its own, both spiritual and physical.

When we are told that God can do all things, it also means His Word can do all things. If God has said something concerning you, be rest assured that it must come to pass.

God never speaks empty words because as we are told in the Holy Bible in John 6:63, God's Words are spirit and life.

If God's Words are spirit and life, it means they can do spiritual and physical things. This is why the Bible says God spoke the Universe into existence -Hebrews 11:3.

All the above words are a pointer to the fact that the individual who must do well in this life must know God's Word. One may argue here that it is not necessarily so because there are so many atheists who don't know God's Word and yet they prosper in life.

That may sound correct but life is not about material or financial prosperity alone. There is health prosperity, Divine protection, marital and family peace and happiness, etc. How many people that have financial success outside of God have these things? None, I can assure you, if you would take time to study their lives.

More importantly, the individual who will exit this world in death and have peace on the other side of life is the one who knows, values, accepts and applies God's Word here on earth. Again, this is not the case with people who are financially successful outside of God.

In fact, God Himself tells us in Isaiah 66:2b, "But this is the man to whom I will look and have regard: he who is humble and of a broken or wounded spirit, and who trembles at My Word and reveres My commands.”

There you have it, dear friend. If you must become God's friend whom God regards, you must be humble, of a broken or wounded spirit, tremble at His Word and revere His commands.

If you are able to believe, accept and do this, what you will discover will shock you beyond your imagination because God will protect, bless, provide, prosper and give you peace you cannot get elsewhere.

You will be amazed at the way doors of blessings and opportunities will open to you because God will make it so. Indeed, all these blessings are contained in God's Word but you must diligently read to find them, accept them, apply them to get the results therein.

God cannot violate His Word. God cannot fail to honour His Word. This is why He is a God of Righteousness, Holiness and Justice.

If man will fail you, God cannot fail you because that puts His integrity at stake and God cannot change what He has said - Psalm 89:34.

Dear friend, let me tell you another very important truth. As I told you earlier that God's Words are Spirit and they are life, in fact, God's Word is a Being called Jesus Christ.

Yes, Jesus Christ is the Word of God as confirmed in John 1:1,14; 1 John 5:7 and Revelation 19:13.

Accepting God's Word means accepting the Lord Jesus Christ. When you accept Jesus Christ the Word of God, your life takes a whole new meaning as I have mentioned above.

To accept God's Word, you must know it; and to know it, you must find it and read it. So where does one find God's Word?

In written form, God's Word is found in one place and one place only: the Holy Bible. Do not be deceived if someone tells you that God's complete Word in written form is found outside the Holy Bible in another so called holy book because that is a lie from the pit of hell.

People can write books and make reference to the Holy Bible with scriptures quotations, but that does not make their book holy even though it contains truths of Bible references. 

But if someone tells you there is a holy book that is different from the Holy Bible, please disregard it, no matter who tells you.

Only God's Words in the Holy Bible are spirit and life because they are able to do what is written therein.

God's Word is also found by Revelation as well when God speaks to directly to a person or indirectly through His anointed, a pastor.

As long as what you are told by revelation is consistent with God's written Word in the Holy Bible, then you are sure it is from God. For instance, God cannot tell you to go and kill someone when His Word says you shall not kill - Exodus 20:13.

God cannot tell you to commit adultery or steal or bear false witness when His Word is against these things - Exodus 20:14-16.

So dear friend, start today to treat God's Word as the most valuable item in your life and you can be sure that not only would you prosper here on earth and have peace, you will leave this world with the assurance of eternal life with God in heaven.

It is written concerning God's Word in Psalm 138:2b, "for You (God) have exalted above all else Your Name and Your Word and You have magnified Your Word above all Your Name!”

This again should tell you that nothing in this world is more important than God's Word, and God's Word is the Lord Jesus Christ!
