GOD CANNOT VIOLATE HIS WORD (4)

Matthew 16:19 
“I (Jesus) will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind (declare to be improper and unlawful) on earth must be what is already bound in heaven; and whatever you loose (declare lawful) on earth must be what is already loosed in heaven.”

Dear people of God, today’s lead Holy Bible text is very significant for Christians. 

Another way of saying it is that whatsoever you permit or allow on earth is permitted or allowed in heaven; whatsoever you do not permit or allow on earth is not allowed or permitted in heaven.

You see the Lord loves us so much that He has given us who believe here on earth so much authority than we can ever imagine. 

This is what Paul was speaking of in his letter to the Ephesians in Eph. 1:19, And [so that you can know and understand] what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His power in and FOR US WHO BELIEVE, as demonstrated in the working of His mighty strength,

If you are living right according to God’s Word in the Holy Bible and satan, demons and their human agents are having a field day troubling you in one way or the other, it is because you are unaware of your authority as a believer and are therefore not exercising it in putting them where they belong.

In essence, they bother you because you have permitted it and Jesus Christ or heaven can only come to your rescue when you exercise your God-given authority to put the activities of darkness on hold by binding them in the name of Jesus Christ.

I repeat, you must exercise your authority as a believer and bind the evil ones in the name of Jesus Christ before heaven will act.

This is what the Bible states in Luke 10:19, James 4:7, 1 Peter 5:8-9 & Ephesians 6:12-18. Read it over and over again until it sinks in.

It does not tell you to pray for heaven to help you BUT for you to exercise your authority and then heaven will act and get it done for you! The power is from heaven but you must activate it by declaring it in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

I must however, warn that a person living a double life professing Christianity and living in sin cannot exercise such authority against the devil without dire consequences because he or she is already in satan’s camp with the sinful lifestyle and satan would strike such person dead if he or she tries it.

This is why a Christian cannot be a sinner and a sinner cannot be a Christian because God will never violate His Word for anyone for whatever reason.

Every promise of God for His children who believe, accept Jesus Christ and live righteously is yours for the taking if you know and understand how to get it – 2 Peter 1:3.

May the good Lord bless you as you heed His Word today, act on it and share with others in Jesus’ Most Powerful Name, Amen.

HOW DO YOU CONTROL VIOLENCE IN PEOPLE?

Hebrews 12:14 (AMPC)  “ Strive to live in peace with everybody and pursue that consecration  and holiness without which no one will [ever] see the Lord.”   Dear people of God, I read sometime in December 2019 ago of a police inspector in Nigeria who shot and killed his colleague, a corporal, and the same shot injured another colleague, a deputy Superintendent of police after which the police inspector took his own life.   What could have led to such violence?   I also read of another unfortunate story of a lady killed December 25, 2019, Christmas Day, by her husband who had beaten her to a coma and then ran away after discovering what he had done. GOD CANNOT VIOLATE HIS WORD

  Psalm 89:34  “My covenant I will not violate, nor will I alter the utterance of My lips.” Dear people of God, today’s lead Bible text in Psalm 89:34 is a profound statement by God Almighty and Father of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. What this statement from God means is that there is nothing He has said in His Word that He will fail to perform. A sensible Christian who understands this will look for what God has said by careful, meditative study of God’s Word found only in the Holy Bible, thank God joyously for it, claim it and God will surely perform what His Word has stated.
