13/05/2017 – TELLING LIES IN GOD’S NAME (2)

Over a year ago, I posted a message here in blogger using this same title. I wanted to post using the same title today when I discovered the first part and so I call this the second part.

In part one, we looked at how desperate individuals are cloning innocent people’s Facebook accounts using their photos to create new Facebook accounts and then going ahead to try to dupe and at times successfully dupe other unsuspecting members of the public using God’s name and giving false prophecies.

We also examined the false teachings of agents of satan masquerading as preachers of the gospel, which the Bible talks about in 2 Corinthians 11:13-15.

Today, these agents of satan have gone a bolder step further by even releasing false messages about the end time, which the Lord Jesus Christ had spoken clearly about in Matthew 24.

The objective of these agents of satan with their new false messages about the end time is to distract and make unbelievers in the wrong congregations to remain there and miss heaven.

Dear friend, as far as this world is concerned, it is only messages from the Lord Jesus Christ that are genuine. Any message purporting to come from any other source other than the Lord Jesus Christ is false.

One may now ask, how would anyone know a message coming from the Lord Jesus Christ? The answer is simple – if anyone appears to you claiming to be Jesus Christ, ask him the simple question, “are you the Son of the Living God?”

The Lord Jesus Christ says it is only He that can answer this question as any demon that attempts to deceive someone by claiming to be Jesus the Son of the Living God would receive instant judgement from God!

Secondly, the Word of God tells us in Deuteronomy 18:20, “But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in My (God’s) name which I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods, that same prophet shall die.”

This also means such a person will not last because God has already passed judgement on him or her in this scripture.

Moreover, it is written in Deuteronomy 18:21-22, “And if you say in your [minds and] hearts, How shall we know which Words the Lord has not spoken?
22 When a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the word does not come to pass or prove true, that is a word which the Lord has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him.”

These days we hear many false prophets tell lies, making all manner of false claims and their congregations hear them, confirm with their own eyes with further events unfolding that the false prophet lied, but they still remain there.

One such false prophet resides here in Nigeria who posted a message on his website last year that God revealed to him that Hilary Clinton would win the US presidential elections that held November 8, 2016.

When Donald John Trump won the election, this false prophet quickly took off his false message from his website. Today, his followers are still following him because they are blinded by the spirit of error that has overtaken them as given them by satan.

The Holy Bible clearly confirms this in 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12.

Dear friend, the ONE AND ONLY way to enter heaven is through the Lord Jesus Christ. Please, please and please, do not be deceived by any other false message out there.

The way to know the Truth is by surrendering your life to the Lord Jesus Christ. Just sincerely repent of sin, confess it to Jesus, tell Jesus to reveal Himself to you, promise to serve Him and Him alone and do ensure to get a Holy Bible to study the Word of God.

A good place to start is the Gospel according to John. Then ensure to look for a place where the undiluted Word of God is preached and where the message is constantly and consistently focused more on how to enter heaven including the way you must relate to God and other human beings whilst here on earth.

Any Gospel message today that CONSISTENTLY focuses on holiness, righteousness, right living, love of God and humans and THE IMMINENT SECOND RETURN OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST is from God because satan will never want to hear such things and satan will do all to prevent a child of God from hearing such messages.

Jesus is coming now! Are you ready to receive Him?

HOW DO YOU CONTROL VIOLENCE IN PEOPLE?

Hebrews 12:14 (AMPC)  “ Strive to live in peace with everybody and pursue that consecration  and holiness without which no one will [ever] see the Lord.”   Dear people of God, I read sometime in December 2019 ago of a police inspector in Nigeria who shot and killed his colleague, a corporal, and the same shot injured another colleague, a deputy Superintendent of police after which the police inspector took his own life.   What could have led to such violence?   I also read of another unfortunate story of a lady killed December 25, 2019, Christmas Day, by her husband who had beaten her to a coma and then ran away after discovering what he had done. GOD CANNOT VIOLATE HIS WORD

  Psalm 89:34  “My covenant I will not violate, nor will I alter the utterance of My lips.” Dear people of God, today’s lead Bible text in Psalm 89:34 is a profound statement by God Almighty and Father of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. What this statement from God means is that there is nothing He has said in His Word that He will fail to perform.
