THE RAPTURE IS ROUND THE CORNER

Matthew 24:38-42 (AMPC)

“For just as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, [men] marrying and [women] being given in marriage, until the [very] day when Noah went into the ark,

39 And they did not know or understand until the flood came and swept them all away–so will be the coming of the Son of Man. [Gen. 6:5-8; 7:6-24.]

40 At that time two men will be in the field; one will be taken and one will be left.

41 Two women will be grinding at the hand mill; one will be taken and one will be left.

42 Watch therefore [give strict attention, be cautious and active], for you do not know in what kind of a day [whether a near or remote one] your Lord is coming.”

Dear people of God, in the early hours of yesterday Thursday May 4, 2017, I had a dream that looked more of a revelation.

In this dream, it appeared Heaven was doing a rehearsal or test run of the Rapture. I found myself in a field with other people and all of a sudden, the sky became dark and strange and in our minds we all had the feeling the Rapture had come.

Shortly thereafter, I was lifted off the ground into the air and carried away from the place and found myself somewhere I thought was heaven and I just lay there quietly for a while.

After some time, I opened my eyes and realized I was still on the earth and I then traced my way back to where I saw a number of people including my spouse who was sitting on what looked like a rocking chair.

When I got to where she was, I asked her if she too was lifted up and in a categorical tone, she answered, “yes now! and added rhetorically, “Have we not been following God all this time?”

I then saw a close friend of mine and I asked him if he also was lifted up and I could see palpable excitement on his face as he responded, “Yes! Yes!”

I also saw many who did not experience any lift up and there was concern and shock written on their faces.

Then we were all expecting the final Rapture to happen and it was then I woke up from the dream.

Immediately I woke up, I started praying and asking God severally to have mercy on us and finally I prayed that if there was anything that would prevent me from making the Rapture God should show mercy and take it away.

Dear friend, in case you don’t know what the Rapture is, I urge you to read today’s lead Holy Bible text above again.

The Rapture is a day in the near future when the Lord Jesus Christ will suddenly appear from the heavens and at the sound of a trumpet, the angels would go to all corners of the earth to gather God’s elect who would rise off the ground to join the Lord Jesus in the air and be taken into heaven.

Those who don’t qualify would be left behind to experience the Great Tribulation, a period of great distress and suffering never before experienced in the history of mankind, when satan, demons and the anti-christ would reign on earth because the presence of God would have left here.

They would torture severely all who claimed to be Christians but were living in sin and so were not qualified to go when Jesus came to take His elect in Rapture.

At that time, all forms of commerce or trade would only be done when one is given the mark of the beast or the mark of the anti-christ (Revelation 13:16-17) and anyone who refuses to take the mark would suffer untold torture at the hand of satan, demons, the anti-christ and their human agents – Revelation 13:5.

Anyone who makes the mistake of receiving the mark of the beast is doomed forever – Revelation 14:9-11.

Dear friend, for me, that dream I had is a warning sign from God that the Rapture is round the corner and people should be prepared by sincerely repenting and turning away from sin, confessing and forsaking sin, turning to the Lord Jesus Christ, accepting Him as Lord of your life and obeying His commandments.

I am always amazed when I hear the kind of statements that come out of many professed Christians and I sincerely feel compassion for them for their ignorance about sin, righteousness and holy living as God has commanded.

Even the lifestyle of others who engage in all manner of immorality whilst also justifying it is disgustingly shocking. They steal, tell lies at will, cheat, fornicate, watch pornography, gossip, hate others, dress immorally, and so on and so forth.

I can only advise when I encounter them and also pray for God to have mercy and open their eyes of understanding as I continue to do.

People are more interested these days in material pleasures than going to heaven. They hardly talk about spiritual things. They feel ashamed to even mention the name of Jesus in social media posts.

They prefer to write IJN or IMJN so that their friends don’t associate them as being spiritual but in their privacy they pray to the same Jesus Christ they disown publicly to help them.

But in public, their voices are loudest when they discuss fashion for women, sports and politics for men and money for both groups. They even crack blasphemous jokes using the name of Jesus and pastors including spiritual things and laugh about it!

As we are in this world, indeed, we must live but God is warning us to keep our minds focused more on going to heaven because this world is passing away!

Jesus can do all things (Luke 1:37), Jesus can provide all your needs and Jesus says if you have faith and trust in Him, you will get whatever you want (Mark 9:23; Mark 11:23-24).

Why then is it so difficult for people who say they are Christians to simply believe and do as Jesus has instructed?

Jesus is coming! Jesus is coming!! Jesus is coming!!!

Do not say you were not warned. Repent today and now before it is too late.
