WALKING WITH GOD HAS IMMENSE BENEFITS
Many people live in
constant fear of the unknown – fear of danger, fear of poverty, fear of
loneliness, fear of old age, fear of enemies, fear of the unknown, fear of
rejection, fear of losing a job or business opportunity, fear of ill health, etc.
There are
Christians who also exhibit these fears ignorantly.
God’s Word in the
Holy Bible tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, “For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of
cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a
spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.”
Since God did not
give us a spirit of fear, so where does that spirit come from? The devil of
course! You must bind and cast out that spirit of fear now and today in the
name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
So dear friend, why
do you live in fear as a Christian when God has given you a spirit of power,
love, calm, well balanced mind, discipline and self-control?
Why are you afraid
of poverty when God has said in Psalm 34:10, “The young lions lack food and
suffer hunger, but they who seek (inquire of and require) the Lord [by right of
their need and on the authority of His Word], none of them shall lack any
beneficial thing.”
For those who are afraid of human enemies, see what God
says in Psalm 81:13-14, “Oh, that My people would
listen to Me, that Israel would walk in My ways!
14 Speedily then I
would subdue their enemies and turn My hand against their adversaries.”
Israel
are God’s servants (Leviticus 25:55) and this is what God says about them above.
How much more you, a Christian (genuine believer and follower of Jesus Christ),
a son of God, don’t you think you have a better promise as God’s child?
Indeed,
you have because God’s Word says so in Romans 5:17, “For if because of one man's trespass (lapse, offense)
death reigned through that one, much more surely will those who receive [God's]
overflowing grace (unmerited favour) and the free gift of righteousness
[putting them into right standing with Himself] reign as kings in life through
the one Man Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).”
If with
God’s inputted grace and righteousness as His child you are to reign as a king
in life through the Lord Jesus Christ, so what are you afraid of? Does a king
live in fear of anything?
Does a
king live in poverty?
No he
does not. How much more a Christian and child of God!
Dear friend,
you can see the many benefits of walking with God and Father of our Lord and
Saviour Jesus Christ. There are too numerous to name.
What,
therefore, is preventing you from sincerely accepting Jesus Christ into your life
today since it automatically confers on you the grace and righteousness to
reign as a king in this life through Christ?
On the
other hand, the consequences of rejecting God’s offer are dire. This is not a
threat, dear friend, but a guarantee to all who reject God.
God
loves you, which is why He has brought you to see this message even as you read
this.
Please
give your life SINCERELY to Him through the Lord Jesus Christ today so that
things can turn around for best for you here on earth and you can have the
assurance of eternal life with Jesus Christ in heaven when you depart this
world.
May the
good Lord bless you as you heed His Word today, act on it and share with others
in Jesus’ Most Merciful Name, Amen.
