SUBTLE EVIL INFLUENCES (2)
Dear friends, not
many Christians understand that there are spirits behind all of the atrocities committed
in today’s world by evil people.
Nothing happens in
the physical world without first having happened in the spirit realm.
It is no surprise
therefore when I tell people that worldly music that has lewd lyrics is ungodly
and they start to argue that there is nothing wrong with worldly music.
If you regularly
watch horror movies, play violent games, listen to reggae, rap and rock music,
read or watch pornographic materials, the spirits behind these items would take
over the person.
It sounds strange
but it is the truth I am telling you.
I know a lady who
used to read books of the religious sect Eckankar while she was living in
Nigeria and then she got a job as a nurse in the USA.
She contacted the
sect there and continued reading their books. One night according to her, she
started hearing voices and she started to levitate from her bed.
The experience
sacred her so much that she returned their books and severed all ties with the
sect.
The sect had thought
she was ready to join them at a higher level, which was why they manifested themselves
to her; but for her, she just thought it was an ordinary religious group
without knowing it was more than that.
You need to be
careful what you read, watch, listen to or play as a game, not to talk of what
you expose your kids to.
These are the subtle
ways satan is using to capture young and adult minds spiritually and
physically.
If you must read,
let it be books that glory God and edify you. If you must listen to music, let
it be the same.
Monitor what your
kids are doing and more importantly expose them (with your personal life as example)
to the things of God early in life starting at age 0 until they reach age of
reasoning when the spirit of God would have saturated their young minds and
they would continue in following Jesus Christ until they depart this world.
Always declare God’s
Holy Spirit into their lives and speak the Word of God in the Bible into their
lives on a daily basis.
Don’t wait until something
goes horribly wrong before you start this practice. Start now and let it become
a part of your consciousness and teach the same to your kids.
The Bible tells us
in Romans 6:16, “Do you not know that if you continually surrender
yourselves to anyone to do his will, you are the slaves of him whom you obey,
whether that be to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience which leads to
righteousness (right doing and right standing with God)?”

bless you as you heed His Word today, act on it and share with others in Jesus’
