GOD’S FAITHFULNESS –ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL TESTIMONY
I love hearing
testimonies of the faithfulness of God in the lives of people.
Only yesterday
Friday September 16, 2017 I heard one such beautiful testimony.
I have this friend
in the office who did not show up for work on Monday September 11, 2017.
When he came the
next day and I asked him what the matter was, he told me how his mother had
been ill for the last four months and his family had visited hospitals and
spent money on her all to no avail.
His mum developed a
rash on her skin that simply refused to go.
His dad eventually
took her to their country home to see if they could get any help there.
As I listened to
him tell his story, I could see he was pained in his heart and almost at the
point of shedding tears over the seeming helplessness of the situation.
After hearing his
story, I took time to explain to him what the Lord Jesus Christ had done for
His children on the Cross of Calvary and I quoted these two scriptures as proof:
(1)Matthew
8:16-17, “When evening came, they brought to Him (Jesus
Christ) many who were under the power of demons, and He drove out the spirits
with a Word and restored to health all who were sick.
17 And thus He fulfilled what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah, He
Himself took [in order to carry away] our weaknesses and infirmities and bore away our
diseases.”

1 Peter 2:24, “He
(Jesus Christ) personally bore our sins in His [own] body on the tree [as on an
altar and offered Himself on it], that we might die (cease to exist) to sin and
live to righteousness. By His wounds you have been healed.”
As you
can see, Jesus not only took away our sins but also our sicknesses and
diseases.
I explained
this to my friend and told him to send these Scriptures to his mother, get her
to read or someone else to read it to her and let her forgive whatever she has
against anyone and then claim these Scriptures as her right as a child of God
in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Dear
friend, my friend testified to me yesterday amidst beaming smiles that God had
healed his mum and the rash had started disappearing from her skin!
All these
just within 3 days of knowing her right as a child of God and claiming
possession of this right!
Meanwhile
this is the same woman who had suffered for the last 4 months without solution.
Jesus
stepped in to heal her immediately she believed and claimed His Word as her
right.
This is
the same way many Christians suffer in ignorance and many even die in the
process whilst blaming God for not helping them, whereas God had provided the
help thousands of years ago when He shed His precious blood on the Cross of
Calvary.
What these
folks are unaware of is that it is satan that has caused their illness and
until they know their rights as Christians and take possession, satan would
continue to hold sway over their lives.
It does
not matter by what name the sickness comes, whether Cancer, Ebola, Leukaemia,
HIV/AIDs, Psoriasis, Ovarian cysts, Fibroid, whatever. Jesus took it all away
on the Cross of Calvary and you must believe it to receive divine healing from
your ailment.
This is
why you must go to Church to hear the truth of God’s Word and also take time to
study His Word in the Holy Bible to know what Truth is, obey it, and act on it
to receive your God-given blessings as a child of God.
I tell
you, Jesus loves you and wants you to know these things and enjoy His
blessings.
Jesus also
wants you to tell others what you know about Him so they also can repent of sin
and evil, confess and forsake sin, come to Him (Jesus), live a righteous life
in obedience to His commandments in the Holy Bible, enjoy His blessings here on
earth and enter eternal life found only in Jesus Christ.
May the
good Lord bless you as you heed His Word today, act on it and share with others
in Jesus’ Most Powerful Name, Amen.
