THE OCCULTIC CHURCH GOER
In very many
Churches these days you find people who claim to belong to Jesus Christ but
also engage in occultic practices.
Such people believe
there is no difference between one from the other.
In fact I have
heard a story of a cab driver who was a Muslim and hung a Roman Catholic rosary
in his vehicle and while he was carrying a passenger, the voodoo charm he had
made fell out of the vehicle’s glove compartment as he entered a little ditch.
When asked why he
had all these items, he responded that he did it for protection and he tried
all in a bid to make sure at least one of them would work for him.
The
Word of God tells us in 1 Corinthians 10:20-23, “No, I
am suggesting that what the pagans sacrifice they offer [in effect] to demons
(to evil spiritual powers) and not to God [at all]. I do not want you to
fellowship and be partners
with diabolical spirits [by eating at their feasts].
21 You cannot drink
the Lord's cup and the demons' cup. You cannot partake of the Lord's table and
the demons' table.
22 Shall we thus
provoke the Lord to jealousy and anger and indignation? Are we stronger than
He [that we should defy Him]?
23 All things are
legitimate [permissible–and we are free to do anything we please], but not all
things are helpful (expedient, profitable, and wholesome). All things are
legitimate, but not all things are constructive [to character] and edifying [to spiritual life].”
As you
can see from this Scripture, frolicking with satan and claiming to be a child
of God at the same time is an anomaly and a sheer waste of time because God Who
created us would never accept anyone giving the glory that belongs to Him alone
to a creature He made.
Verse 23
is clear that what may appear right to someone, like the church goer’s occultic
practices, is not constructive to his character nor does it edify him
spiritually.
You are
either wholly for God and Him alone or you belong to the devil even if you don’t
say it but your activities clearly violate God’s commands.
Dear friend,
there is no safety or protection whatsoever for anyone who is outside of
genuine fellowship with Jesus Christ.
Salvation is found alone
in Jesus Christ and no one else. And Jesus Christ is God because the Word of
God says so – John 10:30; John 1:1; Colossians 1:15.
I appeal to you to
come sincerely to Jesus Christ today before it is too late. No matter how
deeply involved you are in the occult, it is only Jesus Christ that can deliver,
save and protect you.
Come to Jesus and
come now!
Jesus Christ is
coming now!!!
May the good Lord
bless you as you heed His Word today, act on it and share with others in Jesus’
