SICKNESS & WEAKNESS DO NOT ACCOMPANY OLD AGE
Deuteronomy 34:7 (GNB)
“Moses was 120 years old when he died; he was as strong as ever, and his eyesight was still good.”
Dear people of God, there is a very wrong impression most people have Christians inclusive, which is that old age brings weakness and sickness to one’s body.
There is not one Scripture in the Bible that supports this erroneous statement but most believers have come to accept it out of ignorance.
Today’s lead Scripture tells us that Moses the man of God died at 120 years of age and he was as strong as ever and his eye sight was still good.
Even when the Word of God tells us that it is what we believe in our hearts and declare with our mouths that we will receive, you still find people saying the wrong things with their mouths from the wrong things that is implanted in their hearts.
Once this verbal declaration is done, it is manifested spiritually.
Now, when the very same wrong things they have believed and declared now manifest in their life, they complain and ask why this is happening to them.
Let us examine the words of Caleb in Joshua 14:10-11, “But now, look. It has been 45 years since the LORD said that to Moses. That was when Israel was going through the desert, and the LORD, as he promised, has kept me alive ever since.
Look at me! I am 85 years old and I'm just as strong today as I was when Moses sent me out. I am still strong enough for war or for anything else.”
At 85 years of age, Caleb was as strong as when he was 40 years of age.
Dear friends, please stop using your mouths to place curses on yourself through negative beliefs and negative confession because that gives permission to satan to afflict you whether you realize it or not.
This is the very reason many people do not get what they have prayed for. They pray for something with from mouths and afterwards declare with the same mouth the very opposite through complaints, murmuring and negative confessions.
ALWAYS believe in your heart and use your mouth to declare what you want to see in your life, your business, health, marriage, children, relationships, work, family, and every single thing concerning you.
So know today that it is unto you according to your faith (or belief) and it is unto you according to your confession – Mark 11:23.
Sickness and weakness should not accompany old age as a child of God if you believe. A child of God who believes should only fall asleep in Christ and not fall sick until death.
May the good Lord bless you as you heed His Word today, act on it and share with others in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
