A WARNING TO THE CHURCHES!
Revelation 2:7 (AMPC)
“He who is able to hear, let him listen to and give heed to what the Spirit says to the assemblies (churches). To him who overcomes (is victorious), I will grant to eat [of the fruit] of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.”
Dear people of God, whenever I hear a message I am sure is from God, I have a serious obligation to share with Christians and non-Christians for their own good. This is consistent with God’s commands in Ezekiel 3:17-21.
And so it was that on Sunday November 12, 2017, a young man from one of the parishes of my church assembly came to give us a message he got from the Lord.
According to him, sometime ago when he moved to High School he had left our church for another congregation on the premise that our congregation was too over righteous with women wrapping their heads to come to church.
He soon moved from his new found congregation to another one where he was made the leader of the drama group since he loved acting.
It happened one night that he had a dream where God showed him members of his congregation in a hotel drinking alcohol and on Sunday coming to the church to speak in tongues.
The Spirit of God asked him if such people expected God to accept their praise and worship when they led such double lives? He was told to inform them that their praises did not go beyond the church ceiling and they should repent in their own interest.
The young man had another dream where he saw a very long line of millions of people (himself inclusive) moving in two directions at the front of the line – left or right. The left had a deep pit with fire in it while the right had a narrow winding path.
While a voice told him at intervals not to come to the front as it was better for him to sit on a lighted gas burner, millions of people were being sent to the left, thrown into the huge pit of fire and screaming from their torments.
Once in a long while one person would go to the right narrow winding path.
When the young man got to the front of the line, he was sent back and then he woke up from his dream.
He had another dream where he was told that the time in heaven was a minute to Midnight and when Jesus comes back in Rapture, would he be ready to go with him?
It was at this point when he woke up that it dawned on him that he needed to get serious with God or risk going to eternity in HELL and so it was that on October 2, 2017, he repented sincerely, became born again and gave his life to Jesus as Messiah.
He has since returned to our congregation and has been going round the different parishes to warn the people as God directed him to do.
Dear friend, it is instructive to note that God told the young man to warn about the following especially as it relates to the women folk:
• wearing of trousers
• use of hair attachment of any kind including rubber
• bangles
• ear rings
• neck chains
• facial make-up
• wastage of food. Yes, God says wastage of food is a sin
Whenever the first five issues on this list come up, the women folk and some men are quick to rise up to defend the actions of those who do or use these items and so it was a friend yesterday asked me how women in Europe and North America where it was very cold would cope wearing only garments for females (gowns and skirts) as God has commanded in Deuteronomy 22:5.
My response to my friend was that Christians should remember that God can do ALL things. If cold is therefore your problem and the reason for wearing trousers, then wear a skirt or gown as a woman in obedience to God and ask God to prevent the cold from hurting you, rather than use cold as an excuse to disobey and offend God.
The Lord Jesus says in Matthew 7:-7-8, “Keep on asking and it will be given you; keep on seeking and you will find; keep on knocking [reverently] and [the door] will be opened to you.
For everyone who keeps on asking receives; and he who keeps on seeking finds; and to him who keeps on knocking, [the door] will be opened.”
However, always remember that your asking must be in your righting standing with God and in faith for God to respond – Hebrews 11:6.
God never responds to a sinner’s prayer unless it is a sincere prayer of repentance, total surrender to the Lord Jesus Christ and a resolve to obey God’s commands going forward.
Dear friend, there is nothing in this world worth going to HELL for. A minute to Midnight as heaven has warned means the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ is imminent.
Please repent today, now and return to the Lord Jesus Christ sincerely before it is too late. Today’s lead Holy Bible text is very instructive and timely in warning.
May the good Lord bless you as you heed His Word today, act on it and share with others in Jesus’ Most Righteous Name, Amen.
