JERUSALEM AS ISRAEL’S CAPITAL (2)

Joel 3:1-7 (AMPC)

  “FOR BEHOLD, in those days and at that time when I shall reverse the captivity and restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem,

2 I will gather all nations and will bring them down into the Valley of Jehoshaphat, and there will I deal with and execute judgment upon them for [their treatment of] My people and of My heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations and [because] they have divided My land.

3 And they have cast lots for My people, and have given a boy for a harlot and have sold a girl for juice [of the grape] and have drunk it.

4 Yes, and what are you to Me, O Tyre and Sidon and all the [five small] divisions of Philistia? Will you pay Me back for something? Even if you pay Me back, swiftly and speedily I will return your deed [of retaliation] upon your own head,

5 Because you have taken My silver and My gold and have carried into your temples and palaces My precious treasures,

6 And have sold the children of Judah and the children of Jerusalem to the sons of the Grecians, that you may remove them far from their border.

7 Behold, I will stir them up out of the place to which you have sold them and will return your deed [of retaliation] upon your own head.”

Dear people of God, only yesterday Thursday December 22, 2017, the United Nations General Assembly passed a non-binding resolution calling on the United States of America led by their President Donald J. Trump to rescind its decision to recognize Jerusalem as the official capital of Israel.

What is going on now puts other nations at cross roads with Israel and the United States.

What many people are unaware of is that this is a plan in God’s timetable concerning this world.

The Bible has information on these events but because people are not studying it, they are unaware.

The reason the United States of America is prospering today is as a result of its spiritual ties with the God of Heaven through Israel, the nation God loves.

God has promised to bless all nations that bless Israel and curse nations that curse Israel – Genesis 12:3.

Nobody can question God on His choice and love of Israel as a nation because as the Creator, God has the prerogative to do as He please and as a Righteous God of Integrity, everything He does is Just and right.

What is going on currently is a pointer to the fact that the promised wrath of God’s judgement upon the earth for the sins of disobedient, immoral and unrighteous people is fast approaching – Revelation 16.

Dear friend, you would do well to prayerfully study your bible if you are a Christian to understand what is happening and pray to God for mercy that you are not found wanting in anyway.

As a non-Christian, you would also do well to ask God in prayer to show and make you understand what is going on in the Middle East concerning Jerusalem.

Nobody can stop God’s plan.

The return of Jesus Christ the Saviour and Messiah to take His qualified children in Rapture is imminent. Thereafter as the Bible says, the anti-Christ will hold sway on this world for 7 whole years.

Time is running out. Repent and return sincerely to Jesus Christ before it is too late.

May the good Lord bless you as you heed His Word today, act on it and share with others in Jesus’ Merciful Name, Amen.

HOW DO YOU CONTROL VIOLENCE IN PEOPLE?

Hebrews 12:14 (AMPC)  “ Strive to live in peace with everybody and pursue that consecration  and holiness without which no one will [ever] see the Lord.”   Dear people of God, I read sometime in December 2019 ago of a police inspector in Nigeria who shot and killed his colleague, a corporal, and the same shot injured another colleague, a deputy Superintendent of police after which the police inspector took his own life.   What could have led to such violence?   I also read of another unfortunate story of a lady killed December 25, 2019, Christmas Day, by her husband who had beaten her to a coma and then ran away after discovering what he had done. The police have since found and arrested him.   Reports have it that the man was fond of beating his late wife at the slightest provocation, which has eventually led to her death in this latest incident.   Again, what could have caused this incessant violence?   Medical experts claim that humans have 2 s...

GOD CANNOT VIOLATE HIS WORD

  Psalm 89:34  “My covenant I will not violate, nor will I alter the utterance of My lips.” Dear people of God, today’s lead Bible text in Psalm 89:34 is a profound statement by God Almighty and Father of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. What this statement from God means is that there is nothing He has said in His Word that He will fail to perform. A sensible Christian who understands this will look for what God has said by careful, meditative study of God’s Word found only in the Holy Bible, thank God joyously for it, claim it and God will surely perform what His Word has stated.
