FOCUS ON GOD’S WORD AND NOT YOUR PROBLEMS

As long as someone remains in this world, problems, challenges and issues will arise.

For a Christian, it will come and the reason is simple: the devil or satan’s main objective is to get the Christian to doubt the truth of God’s Word, the efficacy of God’s Word and the power of God’s Word to resolve all challenges. So satan will throw all manner of obstacles at a Christian to make him or her develop unbelief.

If the Christian unfortunately accepts the obstacles as his fate and begins to question God’s ability to solve his problems, satan becomes very happy because that is what he wants to achieve.

Since we know that satan is the cause of the world’s troubles, what are we to do as Christians? We are to focus solely on the truth of God’s Word in the Holy Bible.

You must realize today that the worse thing that can happen to any human being is death. As long as the person is alive, there is hope and that hope lies in Christ Jesus alone.

I have an uncle who once told me that many years ago he took a decision, which was that any problem he could not solve was not a problem and he would just overlook it.

This man is over 70 years of age today and he is still hale and hearty because he never bothers himself about the problems of this life.

Dear friend, this is how it ought to be amongst us Christians. Worrying over your problem will never take it away. If anything, worry would only aggravate the situation and cause you serious health problems.

In fact, what worry does is to open the door to satan to have a legitimate right to afflict a Christian with evil, sickness and disease.

Yes, I agree, the problem is real and it is there and evident.

However, please know today that when you choose to concentrate on the truth of God’s Word concerning your situation, not only would it shut the door against satan’s spiritual attacks but it would move God to act on your belief in His Word, for the purpose of God maintaining the integrity of His Word’s efficacy and to glorify His Holy Name.

The Holy Bible tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, “Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God.

And God's peace [shall be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”

If this is what God has told us to do in His Word concerning every situation that confronts us, then by all means do what God has said as a proof that you believe Him.

Then the peace of God that transcends all understanding shall be yours as stated in His Word in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Dear friend, God created you and He loves you more than you can ever realize. It is only in Christ Jesus you can enjoy true peace and happiness here on earth and be assured of eternal salvation in the afterlife.

You simply cannot get it anywhere else.

Please believe what God has told us in His Word and you will get the exact same result God has promised as long as you maintain your faith in your spirit and confess it verbally to activate it spiritually for it to manifest physically.

Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. You cannot reach God except through Jesus Christ – John 14:6. Please turn to Him sincerely today before it is too late.

May the good Lord bless you as you heed His Word today, act on it and share with others in Jesus’ Mighty Name, Amen.

HOW DO YOU CONTROL VIOLENCE IN PEOPLE?

Hebrews 12:14 (AMPC)  “ Strive to live in peace with everybody and pursue that consecration  and holiness without which no one will [ever] see the Lord.”   Dear people of God, I read sometime in December 2019 ago of a police inspector in Nigeria who shot and killed his colleague, a corporal, and the same shot injured another colleague, a deputy Superintendent of police after which the police inspector took his own life.   What could have led to such violence?   I also read of another unfortunate story of a lady killed December 25, 2019, Christmas Day, by her husband who had beaten her to a coma and then ran away after discovering what he had done. GOD CANNOT VIOLATE HIS WORD

  Psalm 89:34  “My covenant I will not violate, nor will I alter the utterance of My lips.” Dear people of God, today’s lead Bible text in Psalm 89:34 is a profound statement by God Almighty and Father of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. What this statement from God means is that there is nothing He has said in His Word that He will fail to perform.
