GOD IS ANGRY WITH THE WICKED

The Word of God tells us in Psalm 7:11 (KJV), God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.

It is possible a person may assume the word wicked in the above Scripture verse to refer only to someone who commits an atrocious act against another person or group of persons, and rightly so.

The person may say, well, that does not refer to me since I am in right standing with God.

However, since the Word of God tells us that God is angry with the wicked every day, let us look at some examples of the wicked, some which would be glaring and some not so glaring but indeed very serious too:

(1)        The wicked is anyone who discriminates against others on the basis of ethnic nationality (race), skin colour, tribe, social status, economic status, physical attributes, political status, religion, etc.

(2)        The wicked is the preacher of the Gospel, married or unmarried who commits adultery or fornicates with the sisters in his congregation, whether married or unmarried and vice versa where the preacher is female.

(3)        The wicked is the boss who deliberately refuses to promote his or her staff who merits it unless that staff engages in an illicit affair with him or her.

(4)        The wicked is the office colleague who destroys another’s character with lies and calumny just to curry the supervisor’s favour.

(5)        The wicked is the man or woman who promotes, supports and contracts the murder and bloodshed of innocent lives of unborn babies through abortion for whatever reason.

(6)        The wicked is the ritualist, kidnapper, occultist, human trafficker, armed robber, narcotics seller, necromancer, witch, wizard, false witness, partial magistrate, whose activities bring pain, sorrow and even death to others.

(7)        The wicked is the concubine, in-law (mother, father, sister, brother, aunt, uncle, relative, etc) who has caused a separation and even divorce of a happily married couple.

(8)        The wicked is in the in-law who murders his or her relative and then deprives his or her nuclear family of their rights to the deceased’s estate.

(9)        The wicked is the adulterous polygamist whose lust for female flesh has led his wife, concubines and their kids to become sworn enemies to the extent of eliminating themselves by physical and spiritual means.

(10)    The wicked is the government worker who colludes with others who are equally wicked to divert and steal public funds to deprive the nation’s citizens the right to enjoy the benefits of deploying such funds to public good.

(11)    The wicked is the politician who in active connivance with others manipulates and rigs elections to his advantage to gain political power.

(12)    The wicked is the person (employee, contractor, etc) who receives compensation for work not done or work done but not as agreed.

(13)    The wicked is the individual who cannot honour a commitment and who cannot keep his or her word.

(14)    The wicked is the employer or employment recruiter who uses his position to curry favours from prospective employees before offering them the job.

(15)    The wicked is the paedophile parent, uncle, aunt or neighbour who sexually abuses his or her child, relative or neighbour’s child who is too young either to understand what is going on or to halt it.

(16)    The wicked is the lecturer that demand sexual favours and money to pass his or her students in tests and examinations.

(17)    The wicked is the person who has heard, believed, received and seen the practical benefits of the Gospel, the Good News of Repentance, Salvation and Eternal Life found only in the Lord Jesus Christ but refuses to either pay tithes so that the same Gospel can be taken faraway to unsaved souls or refuses to personally share the same Gospel with others.

(18)    The wicked is the person who knows the truth of the Gospel but deliberately refuses to accept or practise it and also misleads others to eternal damnation.

Dear friend, the Bible says God is angry with the wicked every day. God loves the soul but hates sin.

Now stop for a moment and meditate quietly on your daily activities, your relationship with God and human beings using the above points (though not exhaustive) as reference.

Are you a wicked person? If yes, Jesus Christ is giving you another opportunity to retrace your steps, repent and return to Him as you read this. Do not reject this offer because tomorrow or later may be too late for you.

God will judge every one of us for our activities here on earth and the final place for all wicked people is eternal damnation in HELL forever and ever.

I want to believe you do not want to experience this. Please repent and give your life sincerely to the Lord Jesus Christ and commit to obeying His commandments in the Holy Bible for the rest of your earthly life.

May the good Lord bless you as you heed His Word today, act on it and share with others in Jesus’ Mighty Name, Amen.

Gabriel Ama.
