07/07/2018 – WHAT DOES GOD SAY?
Dear friend, God in His infinite mercy and love has given me grace to fall in love with His Word in the Holy Bible so much so that nowadays I always process my comments and those of others through God’s Word.

The integrity with which God values and holds His Word is unfathomable. Every human being needs to understand this fact because it is Truth.

Whenever I see people passing through emotional, financial, marital, medical and other problems, I empathize with them because I know for sure that if they had understanding of God’s Word, their situation would change for best once they applied it.

When I am conversing with someone, my mind is processing the conversation through the Truth of God’s Word. Once I observe a deviation of the conversation from God’s Word, I quickly draw my listener’s attention to it.

I do this because I know that God’s Word is Spirit and it is Life as the Lord Jesus Christ tells us in John 6:63b. I also do it to help my listener so that he or she benefits from the understanding of correct application of God’s Word.

Dear friend, whatever the challenge you are passing through as you read this message, I want you to understand that God says something about it in His Word in the Holy Bible.

How do I know this? It is because it is written in Matthew 4:4, “Man shall not live and be upheld and sustained by bread alone, but by every Word that comes forth from the mouth of God.”

Since a person must live by every Word God has spoken, then it is expedient and pertinent to know what God has spoken concerning your situation.

The place to look, obviously is in the Holy Bible, the infallible Word of God complete in written form. You may then ask, how would I know where to start?

The first place to start is through a sincere, simple prayer. Ask God to make you fall in love with His Word and then to show you where to read whenever you want to study His Word.

Anywhere you open is where God wants you to read because He always has a message for His children.

God’s children are those who have accepted Jesus Christ as the Lord and Messiah of their lives. God’s children are those who obey with sincerity all that God commands in His Word in the Holy Bible and those whose conduct affirms the instruction God has given to all who love Him.

No human can therefore afford to ignore what God says in His Word in the Holy Bible. God cannot fail you nor deceive you because His Word is His bond and as a God of integrity, He will always do what He has said.

All you and I have to do is simply obey without question, doubt or scrutiny, for anyone who does that lacks faith and will not get what God has promised in His Word – James 1:6-7 (AMPC).

According to God’s Word in Hebrews 11:6 (AMPC), “But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out].”

May the good Lord bless you as you heed His Word today, act on it and share with others in Jesus’ Most Powerful Name, Amen.

HOW DO YOU CONTROL VIOLENCE IN PEOPLE?

Hebrews 12:14 (AMPC)  “ Strive to live in peace with everybody and pursue that consecration  and holiness without which no one will [ever] see the Lord.”   Dear people of God, I read sometime in December 2019 ago of a police inspector in Nigeria who shot and killed his colleague, a corporal, and the same shot injured another colleague, a deputy Superintendent of police after which the police inspector took his own life.   What could have led to such violence?   I also read of another unfortunate story of a lady killed December 25, 2019, Christmas Day, by her husband who had beaten her to a coma and then ran away after discovering what he had done. The police have since found and arrested him.   Reports have it that the man was fond of beating his late wife at the slightest provocation, which has eventually led to her death in this latest incident.   Again, what could have caused this incessant violence?   Medical experts claim that humans have 2 s...

GOD CANNOT VIOLATE HIS WORD

  Psalm 89:34  “My covenant I will not violate, nor will I alter the utterance of My lips.” Dear people of God, today’s lead Bible text in Psalm 89:34 is a profound statement by God Almighty and Father of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. What this statement from God means is that there is nothing He has said in His Word that He will fail to perform. A sensible Christian who understands this will look for what God has said by careful, meditative study of God’s Word found only in the Holy Bible, thank God joyously for it, claim it and God will surely perform what His Word has stated.
