A VERY GOOD WAY TO BUILD YOUR FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST

Dear friend, the Word of God in the Holy Bible admonishes us in Philippians 4:6-7 (AMPC), “6 Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God.

7 And God's peace [shall be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

The Word of God says we should not fret or have anxiety about anything. In today’s world filled with pressures of all kinds, how easy is it to do that, you may ask.

For you to know why you should not fret or have anxiety about anything, you must first understand how worry and anxiety affects a person.

A significant portion of the ill health people experience in today’s world can be traced to worry and anxiety. Even if you are a born again Christian, you are not immune to the destructive effects of worry and anxiety.

The reason this is so is because worry, fear, anxiety are triggered by satan and his agents and once a person, even a Christian yields to these negative emotions, it leaves a spiritual door open in the person’s life into which satan has a legal right to enter.

As long as the person persists in engaging in worry, fear and anxiety over anything no matter what it is, the person cannot escape from demonic attacks. It is these attacks that now cause sickness in the person’s body and eventually the person’s mind.

This is why you must NEVER allow fear, worry or anxiety to persist or gain ground in your mind.

So what must you do to overcome or prevent this from happening? The same lead Scripture above gives the answer, which is to commit all your cares to the One Who created you, the One Who loves you and the One Who has told you that He would never leave or abandon you – Hebrews 13:5 (AMPC). That Person is the Lord Jesus Christ.

There have been cases of people, Christians, born-again, Holy Spirit filled, who literally lost their minds because they were engaged in worry over issues of life.  

What happened was that their worry left the door open for satan to take over their minds and afflict them. The way out for such folks is to get an anointed minister of God to rebuke the evil spirit(s) in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ to come out of the afflicted person.

The evil spirit(s) must obey no matter how many they are because they cannot withstand a command given to them in the Name of Jesus Christ.

For the person who still has his sanity intact, the cure or antidote to worry is the Word of God in the Holy Bible. The Word of God contains a solution to every single problem of this life – whether health, finance, relationships, etc.

When you deliberately engage in daily and meditative study of God’s Word, God will open your eyes of understanding, reveal deep mysteries that belong to His children, that is, to those who sincerely trust in Him.

As you believe and accept these Truths of the Word of God, your faith would begin to grow and as you act in sincere, total obedience to the Word of God, your life would move in the same direction as God has promised and people would surely notice it – Romans 10:17.

As they notice it, these people would ask questions of you and that would be an opportunity for you to introduce them to the Lord Jesus Christ Who wants everyone to repent sincerely from sin and evil, turn to Him and obey His commands so that they too can also enjoy the unfathomable blessings that belong to the children of God Almighty and Father of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

May the good Lord bless you as you heed His Word today, act on it and share with others in Jesus’ Most Loving Name, Amen.

HOW DO YOU CONTROL VIOLENCE IN PEOPLE?

Hebrews 12:14 (AMPC)  “ Strive to live in peace with everybody and pursue that consecration  and holiness without which no one will [ever] see the Lord.”   Dear people of God, I read sometime in December 2019 ago of a police inspector in Nigeria who shot and killed his colleague, a corporal, and the same shot injured another colleague, a deputy Superintendent of police after which the police inspector took his own life.   What could have led to such violence?   I also read of another unfortunate story of a lady killed December 25, 2019, Christmas Day, by her husband who had beaten her to a coma and then ran away after discovering what he had done. GOD CANNOT VIOLATE HIS WORD

  Psalm 89:34  “My covenant I will not violate, nor will I alter the utterance of My lips.” Dear people of God, today’s lead Bible text in Psalm 89:34 is a profound statement by God Almighty and Father of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. What this statement from God means is that there is nothing He has said in His Word that He will fail to perform.
