JUST BELIEVE THE WORD OF GOD IN THE HOLY BIBLE (2)

When some people hear of crisis in certain areas of their country, it sends panic into them.

The reason they panic is because of the devastating nature of the reports they hear.

I want to ask, what does the Word of God say about God’s protection? Let us examine Psalm 91:9-11, “Because you have made the Lord your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place,

10 There shall no evil befall you, nor any plague or calamity come near your tent.

11 For He will give His angels [especial] charge over you to accompany and defend and preserve you in all your ways [of obedience and service].

This statement of God’s protection is for His children who are obedient and are in His service. Can one take this statement literally as God has said it?

Yes, we can, for the simple reason that God has said it and His Word is true. I will give you a testimony to confirm this position.

I watched a live Christian television broadcast 2 days ago in which a testifier told of how he and a group of Christians were travelling in 2 different vehicles to engage in the work of the Gospel in one part of the country.

As he was driving along the road, suddenly a group of young men came out of the bush dressed in military camouflage and started shooting at his vehicle, which was the vehicle in front.

This driver who was also the testifier said he became afraid and stopped the vehicle and the shooters continued to shoot at them, shattering all the vehicle’s glasses and 2 tyres.

Meanwhile, a pastor in the second vehicle behind instructed the driver of their own vehicle to continue to drive on and the shooters were also shooting at them but miraculously, nothing happened to the occupants as they sped past.

The driver of the first vehicle said all of them in his vehicle were shouting Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, continuously and not a single bullet hit any of them but one bullet passed beside his ear and for a little while he couldn’t hear anything but a continuous sound in that ear that God has since healed and restored his hearing.

He said one of the shooters then came to the vehicle and tried to open the door but could not even when the entire vehicle glasses were shattered and all he, the shooter had to do was to open the door from the inside.

The driver said he suddenly came to his senses and then engaged the vehicle in drive and drove off in full speed to escape the assassin criminals!!!

Even though the entire glasses and 2 tyres of the vehicle were completed destroyed, not a single occupant was hit by a bullet.

The second vehicle had since left and nobody was hit by a bullet.

Dear friend, I want you to note that in the lives of these Christians in the vehicles, the Word of God in Psalm 91:9-11 above became a reality because God cannot fail to honour His Word.

All the occupants of the first vehicle were saying was Jesus, Jesus, Jesus continuously and Jesus, the Name above all names came to their rescue.

I tell you, dear friend, only a child of God can enjoy such privileges because in Christ, you are assured of Divine protection against all powers of the enemy – Luke 10:19.

There is no other way or means or name to benefit from such privileges except in Christ Jesus, the Lord and Messiah of the Universe.

I love the Lord because He is Holy, Righteous and Just. He always keeps His Word because He has no reason whatsoever not to honour it.

For a Christian reading this message, I tell you today, just believe what God has said in His Word concerning you as His child because that is the simple truth.

You can get this through diligent study and meditation of God’s Word in the Holy Bible. Just thank and worship God for His mercies and love over us. It is well with you in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

For a person who is yet to be a Christian, I invite you, dear friend, to come to Christ today to begin to enjoy Divine Protection and other benefits over all works of the evil one, satan and his agents, both spirit and human.

Come today and now, for tomorrow may be too late.

May the good Lord bless you as you heed His Word today, act on it and share with others in the most Powerful Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

HOW DO YOU CONTROL VIOLENCE IN PEOPLE?

Hebrews 12:14 (AMPC)  “ Strive to live in peace with everybody and pursue that consecration  and holiness without which no one will [ever] see the Lord.”   Dear people of God, I read sometime in December 2019 ago of a police inspector in Nigeria who shot and killed his colleague, a corporal, and the same shot injured another colleague, a deputy Superintendent of police after which the police inspector took his own life.   What could have led to such violence?   I also read of another unfortunate story of a lady killed December 25, 2019, Christmas Day, by her husband who had beaten her to a coma and then ran away after discovering what he had done. GOD CANNOT VIOLATE HIS WORD

  Psalm 89:34  “My covenant I will not violate, nor will I alter the utterance of My lips.” Dear people of God, today’s lead Bible text in Psalm 89:34 is a profound statement by God Almighty and Father of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. What this statement from God means is that there is nothing He has said in His Word that He will fail to perform.
