DO NOT LET OTHER PEOPLE’S OFFENCES SEND YOU TO AN ETERNAL DAMNATION

There are many things that would send many Christians to an eternal damnation and some of these are subtle.

Every single day, people all over the world continue to offend others and this sometimes results in intense quarrels that seem to have no end.

Some hold on to grudges and resentment against others and it even causes sicknesses in their bodies for which they are unable to find any cure medically.

The Bible tells us in Hebrews 12:14, “Strive to live in peace with everybody and pursue that consecration and holiness without which no one will [ever] see the Lord.”


For some Christians, this verse of the Bible appears to be a tall order and so they give a thousand and one reasons why they should disobey it because of the “severity” of the offences committed against them.

They justify it and remain in that state of offence and resentment without caring a hoot about the danger ahead. Even when they are warned about the spiritual and even eternal implication of their action/response/reaction to the offence, they make bold to state that they would rather stay in HELL than forgive the offender.

How sad!!

Dear friend, let me make one point very clear to you today. No matter who you are and no matter the severity of the offence against you, God will never change His Word for you.

God has spoken and that is final.

As a peacemaker, you must learn to calm victims of offences and not join them in complaining to aggravate their emotions against the offender.

When you join them in building up resentment, you have also disobeyed God’s commands to pursue peace with all humans and holiness without which no one would EVER see the Lord.

This is a serious command and God never jokes about anything that He has declared.

It is therefore in your own interest to obey whether you are the offended or the peacemaker.

In fact, when you obey as the offended, peace would immediately return to your soul and you feel a great burden lifted off you and if you have had an intractable medical condition, God’s Divine healing would flow into your body to restore and make you whole immediately.

There is therefore everything to gain in being a peacemaker between two or more disgruntled persons.

There is absolutely nothing to gain in holding a grudge, resentment or unforgiveness against an offender. There is nothing to gain in pouring petrol into an already inflamed situation caused by disagreeing people.

May the good Lord bless you as you heed His Word today, act on it and share with others in Jesus’ Most Holy Name, Amen.

HOW DO YOU CONTROL VIOLENCE IN PEOPLE?

Hebrews 12:14 (AMPC)  “ Strive to live in peace with everybody and pursue that consecration  and holiness without which no one will [ever] see the Lord.”   Dear people of God, I read sometime in December 2019 ago of a police inspector in Nigeria who shot and killed his colleague, a corporal, and the same shot injured another colleague, a deputy Superintendent of police after which the police inspector took his own life.   What could have led to such violence?   I also read of another unfortunate story of a lady killed December 25, 2019, Christmas Day, by her husband who had beaten her to a coma and then ran away after discovering what he had done. GOD CANNOT VIOLATE HIS WORD

  Psalm 89:34  “My covenant I will not violate, nor will I alter the utterance of My lips.” Dear people of God, today’s lead Bible text in Psalm 89:34 is a profound statement by God Almighty and Father of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
