THE INESCAPABLE FACT OF LIFE

The Holy Bible, the infallible Word of God tells us in Ecclesiastes 3:1-2a (AMPC), “TO EVERYTHING there is a season, and a time for every matter or purpose under heaven:

2 A time to be born and a time to die

This is the fate of every human being born into this world. Additionally, the Word of God tells us in Hebrews 9:27 (AMPC), “And just as it is appointed for [all] men once to die, and after that the [certain] judgment,”

Again, no human being born into this world would escape this certain judgment.

What are we going to be judged by? The Word of God, the Perfect Law of Liberty, the Holy Bible.

This is God’s standard for all humans. It does not matter what you believe about what I have just stated.

How you choose to live your life here on earth matters to God because He wants you to be aware of these facts I have stated and to adjust your life to His standard and not yours.

When you depart this world, there would be no room for any adjustment because all that ends here and CERTAIN JUDGMENT by God’s Divine Justice must happen.

Dear friend, there is need to take these things seriously because your very life is a gift from your Creator, God Almighty and Father of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Where you are born, your social status, financial status, religious beliefs and status, ethnicity or race are not things that are of utmost importance to God as far as humans are concerned.

What is of utmost importance to God for all humans is stated in 2 Peter 3:9-11 (AMPC), “The Lord does not delay and is not tardy or slow about what He promises, according to some people's conception of slowness, but He is long-suffering (extraordinarily patient) toward you, not desiring that any should perish, but that all should turn to repentance.

10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will vanish (pass away) with a thunderous crash, and the [material] elements [of the universe] will be dissolved with fire, and the earth and the works that are upon it will be burned up.

11 Since all these things are thus in the process of being dissolved, what kind of person ought [each of] you to be [in the meanwhile] in consecrated and holy behavior and devout and godly qualities,

This is the inescapable fact of life for all humans born into this world. It would do you a world of good to think deeply on these things as you read today’s message and take a decision that would suit you for all eternity.

Where and how would you know the right decision to take, you ask? The answer, my friend, lies in the Word of God, the Holy Bible.

Search diligently therein and you will see the Truth about all things in this life and the hereafter.

A Word is enough for the wise.

May the good Lord bless you as you heed His Word today, act on it and share with others in Jesus’ Most Merciful Name, Amen.

HOW DO YOU CONTROL VIOLENCE IN PEOPLE?

Hebrews 12:14 (AMPC)  “ Strive to live in peace with everybody and pursue that consecration  and holiness without which no one will [ever] see the Lord.”   Dear people of God, I read sometime in December 2019 ago of a police inspector in Nigeria who shot and killed his colleague, a corporal, and the same shot injured another colleague, a deputy Superintendent of police after which the police inspector took his own life.   What could have led to such violence?   I also read of another unfortunate story of a lady killed December 25, 2019, Christmas Day, by her husband who had beaten her to a coma and then ran away after discovering what he had done. The police have since found and arrested him.   Reports have it that the man was fond of beating his late wife at the slightest provocation, which has eventually led to her death in this latest incident.   Again, what could have caused this incessant violence?   Medical experts claim that humans have 2 s...

GOD CANNOT VIOLATE HIS WORD

  Psalm 89:34  “My covenant I will not violate, nor will I alter the utterance of My lips.” Dear people of God, today’s lead Bible text in Psalm 89:34 is a profound statement by God Almighty and Father of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. What this statement from God means is that there is nothing He has said in His Word that He will fail to perform. A sensible Christian who understands this will look for what God has said by careful, meditative study of God’s Word found only in the Holy Bible, thank God joyously for it, claim it and God will surely perform what His Word has stated.
