WITH JESUS CHRIST THERE IS NO FEAR OF THE UNKNOWN

Dear friend, a lot of times you hear people speak of a fear of the unknown. According to such people, unknown stands for what the future holds for them.

Now, because they are not sure of their future, they live in fear and this fear influence their daily decisions and some even engage in despicable acts that run contrary to God’s expectation of His children who profess Christ.

I want to tell you for free today that there is only one Person Who alone can guarantee you a worry-free and stress-free future and His Name is Jesus Christ.

The person who causes the troubles of this life is satan or the devil. The Lord Jesus Christ tells us in John 10:10 (AMPC), “The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).”

In this passage, satan or the devil is the thief because his SOLE mission is to steal, kill and destroy and since man fell at the beginning of creation, satan has held sway and caused untold havoc in the lives of human beings.

On the other hand, the Lord Jesus Christ as a result of His unfathomable love for mankind left His Glorious Throne in Heaven and came into this world where sin holds sway for one purpose, which was to destroy what satan had done at the beginning and to restore mankind back to the status he had when God first created humans.

Jesus Christ accomplished this by shedding His precious blood and His sacrificial death on the Cross of Calvary. On the third day as He had prophesied, He resurrected from death to prove that He is the Messiah.

Anybody who believes, accepts this fact and rejects sin/satan and comes to Christ Jesus is assured of a glorious future here on earth and eternal life in the hereafter.

Let me make it clear here that the Lord Jesus Christ tells us that whoever makes a habit of sin is a slave of sin (John 8:34).

We are further told in 1 John 3:8 that anyone who practises sin belongs to the devil who sinned from the beginning.

The person who practises and makes a habit of sin certainly does not have a glorious future and so such an individual MUST have fear of the unknown because his master satan can take him or her out of this world through sickness or accident and the person would enter eternal damnation in HELL.

Dear friend, there is nothing to gain from sin. The Bible says all wrongdoing is sin – 1 John 5:17a.

Whether you tell lies of any kind, steal, murder, abort an unborn baby, dress provocatively, cheat others, hold others in malice, resentment, unforgiveness, gossip, calumny, immoral jokes, watch pornography, commit adultery and fornication, divorce your spouse and remarry another person, read immoral literature, listen to immoral music, refuse to pay tithes, dance provocatively to immoral music or even gospel music, defend a lie told by others, support LGBTQ community, tattoo your skin, wear trousers as a woman, wear make-up, earrings, dye your hair, cause division amongst your family, colleagues, neighbours, etc, all these are wrongdoing and sins against God.

I am sure some would be shocked to see me stating things they consider normal as sin.

Dear friend, I can only advise you to speak sincerely to God to reveal the Truth of His Word to you. Do not harden your heart against God’s Word when you hear it preached.

Rather, ask God sincerely to help you know the Truth about all I have written here and even to show them to you in His Word in the Holy Bible.

When you pray sincerely about this, you can be sure that God would respond to give you an answer.

This is why I say that with Jesus Christ, there is no fear of the unknown because Jesus loves every human being equally and He wants every human being to repent sincerely of sin, confess sin to Him, forsake sin, take a sincere decision to live a new life in righteous obedience to all His commands in the Holy Bible, study, meditate and put God’s Word first in every area of your life.

When you have known this Truth, be sure that Jesus would reveal Himself to you first through His Word and then in speaking to you through that small inner voice that tells you Truths you would confirm as true in the Holy Bible.

Jesus would also expect you to tell others about Him who are still living in sin and ignorance of the consequences and dangers of sin. This is called Evangelism and is compulsory for all Christians who profess Christ – Mark 16:15.

The person who lives this way in Christ would certainly have a glorious future here on earth and enter eternal life in the hereafter.

May the good Lord bless you as you heed His Word today, act on it and share with others in Jesus’ Most Righteous Name, Amen.
