THE KING IS COMING

Dear friend, see what the Lord Jesus Christ says in Revelation 3:11,
“I am coming quickly; hold fast what you have, so that no one may rob you and deprive you of your crown.

This is a warning from Jesus Christ to His Body, the Church on earth. When a person dies, Christ has already come for that person.

However, for the person who is still alive on this earth, this warning still applies because in today’s world evil has escalated to a terrible level.

It is so because the devil and his agents know their time is short so they are trying all their best to ensure to distract Christians to lose their crown, which the Lord has warned us to ensure this does not happen.

Jesus Christ came the first time to this earth as a human being to redeem mankind from the curse placed and spiritual separation from God as a result of sin and death that were the consequence of man’s disobedience to God’s commandment.

Of course the devil was the brain behind this evil scheme.

Jesus has told us in today’s lead text above that He is coming a second time. However, His second coming is not to deal any longer with sin but to take His faithful children with Him to heaven in Rapture.

When this happens, the presence of God would depart from this world for 7 whole years during a period the Bible calls the Great Tribulation (Matthew 24:21-29) when satan and his agents would hold sway over the whole world including those who are left behind at Rapture.

Christians who failed to make the Rapture would be so tortured by the devil and his agents that they would beg for death but would not see it. They would pray but it would be a waste of time because the church age when prayer worked would have ended with the Rapture.

They would be left behind because they were not qualified to follow Jesus as a result of sin, hypocrisy, living a double life, cheating, immorality, gossip, calumny, unforgiveness, malice, lying, adultery, fornication, alcohol, anger, indecent dressing, bribery, anger, and so on and so forth.

There are some Christians today who believe Christianity is an all comers’ affair and that you can live any how you like as long as you profess Jesus Christ and you are living under grace.

Unfortunately for such people, this is not what the Bible says. Let us see what God’s Word says in Titus 2:11-13 (AMPC), “For the grace of God (His unmerited favor and blessing) has come forward (appeared) for the deliverance from sin and the eternal salvation for all mankind.

12 It has trained us to reject and renounce all ungodliness (irreligion) and worldly (passionate) desires, to live discreet (temperate, self-controlled), upright, devout (spiritually whole) lives in this present world,

13 Awaiting and looking for the [fulfillment, the realization of our] blessed hope, even the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One),”

As you can see, God’s Grace is NOT a license to sin but for salvation, deliverance from sin and living a godly life whilst expecting the Lord Jesus to come a second time for His faithful children.

Dear friend, if you profess Christianity but are still living in sin, today and now should be for repentance and return to Jesus Christ in dust and ashes asking for Jesus’ forgiveness, a decision to live right according to His commands in the Holy Bible and a conscious obedience to His Holy Spirit.

If you are not yet a Christian, it is also equally dangerous because God is warning you through this message.

Nobody, not even the devil can stop any of God’s plans including the second coming of Jesus Christ.

The King is coming! The King is coming!! The King is coming!!!

Are you ready for Him? Today and now is the moment of decision, for tomorrow or later may be too late for you.

May the good Lord bless you as you heed His Word today, act on it and share with others in Jesus’ Most Righteous Name, Amen.

Gabriel Ama.
