WHY WAIT TILL DEATH TO KNOW THE TRUTH ABOUT GOD AND HIS WORD?

I recently saw the obituary of a married man in his 50s who recently died in a ghastly vehicle accident.

This man belonged to a group of Christians who believe there is no HELL. They also believe there is no trinity, that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and not God, that there is no life after death and that all humans go out of existence once they die until when God would create a new heavens and earth.

Unfortunately, all these beliefs are wrong because there are several Scriptures in the Holy Bible that disproves the erroneous beliefs of this group of Christians.

I had the opportunity of discussing the issue of life after death with a female friend of mine who is a member of this group.

I referred her to the true story of our Lord Jesus Christ’s transfiguration in Matthew 17:1-8. Peter, who was born hundreds of years after the prophets Moses and Elijah was able to recognize them.

How was Peter able to recognize men who lived hundreds of years before him? It was the Spirit of God that made it possible via revelation.

What happened was that God gave Peter, James and John an open vision to see into the spirit realm while they retained full use of their human senses and they were able to instantly recognize Moses and Elijah.

Having explained this point to my friend, she promised to study the Scripture and revert to me but she has not done so till date after several months. This is one of many Scriptures that prove that there is a life after death.

Dear friend, there are a number of Christian denominations (note that denominations in Christendom are not created by God but by humans for their own selfish and narrow-minded intentions) that teach error to their congregation as the truth and the congregation run with the error to commit sin against God.

Unfortunately, like the man I mentioned at the beginning of this message, it is when they die they find out they have been sold a lie and this lie they have believed and accepted sends them to an eternal damnation where there is no more chance of repentance.

The founders of these denominations that teach error are also going to an eternal damnation when they die and those amongst them who have died are already experiencing this eternal damnation.

Dear friend, if someone has preached to you the Truth of God’s Word in the Bible showing you clearly an erroneous teaching you received from your Christian congregation, why do you want to wait until death to find out the truth when it would be too late?

Let me make it very clear to you as God’s Word shows:

(1)        Jesus Christ is the Son of God and God Himself – John 1:1-2; Hebrews 1:8
(2)        There is the Holy Trinity, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit – 1 John 5:7; Matthew 28:19
(3)        There is a life after death – Matthew 17:1-8;
(4)        There is a HELL where the souls of all who die without Jesus Christ as their Saviour and Messiah as well as all who profess Christianity but die in sin through disobedience of God’s commandments shall suffer eternal damnation, unimaginable pain and misery forever and ever – Matthew 25:41; Mark 9:43-45.

My sincere advice to you today is to ask God sincerely to show you the Truth of His Word on all doctrinal issues that are preached differently in your church denomination.

It would be most unfortunate if you ignore this advice because you would remember it when it may be too late for you and I sincerely pray that God opens your eyes before then to know the Truth in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

May the good Lord bless you as you heed His Word today, act on it and share with others in Jesus’ Most Powerful Name, Amen.

HOW DO YOU CONTROL VIOLENCE IN PEOPLE?

Hebrews 12:14 (AMPC)  “ Strive to live in peace with everybody and pursue that consecration  and holiness without which no one will [ever] see the Lord.”   Dear people of God, I read sometime in December 2019 ago of a police inspector in Nigeria who shot and killed his colleague, a corporal, and the same shot injured another colleague, a deputy Superintendent of police after which the police inspector took his own life.   What could have led to such violence?   I also read of another unfortunate story of a lady killed December 25, 2019, Christmas Day, by her husband who had beaten her to a coma and then ran away after discovering what he had done. GOD CANNOT VIOLATE HIS WORD

  Psalm 89:34  “My covenant I will not violate, nor will I alter the utterance of My lips.” Dear people of God, today’s lead Bible text in Psalm 89:34 is a profound statement by God Almighty and Father of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
