DENYING THE LORD JESUS CHRIST

Matthew 10:32-33 (AMPC)

“Therefore, everyone who acknowledges Me (Jesus Christ) before men and confesses Me [out of a state of oneness with Me], I will also acknowledge him before My Father Who is in heaven and confess [that I am abiding in] him.
 
33 But whoever denies and disowns Me before men, I also will deny and disown him before My Father Who is in heaven.”
 
Dear people of God, a few days ago I watched a video where a young Christian man of North Eastern Nigeria origin testified how his father, a Christian also, was brutally murdered by the evil Boko Haram Islamist terrorists in September 2014.
 
He said his father was captured by the Boko Haram terrorists and asked to deny Jesus Christ, which he bluntly refused.
 
The terrorists then cut off his hand up to the wrist and asked him to deny Jesus, which he still refused. They then cut up to his elbow but the man refused to deny Jesus.
 
They then went ahead to shoot him twice in the head, in the neck and chest and the man died acknowledging Jesus Christ as His Saviour and Lord.
 
From Jesus’ statement in today’s lead Holy Bible text, we don’t need any further evidence to know that this man is now in eternal bliss in heaven with Jesus.
 
Interestingly, because he has entered heaven, he would not even recall whatever happened to him here on earth including his brutal execution at the hands of evil men.
 
That is exactly how God has made it to happen for anyone who enters HEAVEN at death.
 
The opposite is the case for anyone who enters HELL at death because the torture for that person includes a recollection of all the lost opportunities the person had to repent of sin and accept Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord of his or her life.
 
For Christians who die at the hands of evil Islamist terrorists for refusing to deny Jesus Christ as their Saviour and Lord, Jesus has already made it clear to us that such would happen to Christians as contained in John 16:1-3 (AMPC), “I HAVE told you all these things, so that you should not be offended (taken unawares and falter, or be caused to stumble and fall away). [I told you to keep you from being scandalized and repelled.]
 
2 They will put you out of (expel you from) the synagogues; but an hour is coming when whoever kills you will think and claim that he has offered service to God.
 
3 And they will do this because they have not known the Father or Me.”
 
As you can see from this Scripture, the Islamist terrorists worldwide causing mayhem believe that they are offering service to God by killing Christians but Jesus has made it clear that they commit these evil atrocities because they neither know God Almighty the Father, nor Him the Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
 
Now, how many of today’s lukewarm, worldliness focused and prosperity seeking Christians can stand their ground to be tortured until death if asked to deny Jesus Christ?
 
Would the strong desire for materialism and to remain in this world to seek worldliness and prosperity not becloud their judgement and make them immediately deny Jesus Christ their Saviour and Lord in the face of imminent torture and death?
 
A very unfortunate true story is told of a pastor who was captured in North Korea for preaching the Gospel. One of the soldiers there pointed a gun at his head and told him to deny Jesus Christ and he would let him go free so he could go back to meet his family.
 
In consideration of this offer, the pastor denied Jesus Christ and the North Korean soldier shot him in the head and killed him instantly. Can you guess where that pastor is right now?
 
In eternal damnation, unfortunately, because he denied his Saviour when it mattered most for consideration of his life and family, when the Lord Jesus Christ has made it clear to us that we cannot love family – father, mother, children, sibling, relatives, etc more than Him and that we must be ready and willing to die for His sake – Matthew 10:37-39.
 
Many Christians focused on worldliness and materialism are not even aware that we are living in the very end of the last days.
 
The natural disasters occurring in many nations, protests against bad governments, economic difficulties, famine, pestilences (covid-19 and other viral infections), push for fake vaccines against covid-19, push for digital currency, electronic payments using the RFID microchip (mark of the beast mentioned in Revelation 13:16-17) all orchestrated by the devil, demons and their human agents are clear pointers that the evil agenda of a new world order is already unfolding.
 
All over the social media, there are tens and hundreds of video testimonies of Christians whom the Lord Jesus Christ has given dreams on the imminence of the Rapture when the Christian saints would be taken out of this world and thereafter the anti-Christ, beast and satan would hold sway over the world as the Holy Bible prophesied in the Book of Revelation.
 
In spite of all this evidence, many Christians are still living in ungodliness pursuing materialism and sinful pleasures with so much vigour.
 
They are interested in denying the Lord Jesus Christ through exposing their bodies in the name of fashion, shaving their hair in weird hairstyles, watching pornography, partying, listening to worldly music, committing fraud, consuming alcoholic beverages, reading immoral literature, fornicating, committing adultery, and so and so forth.
 
They are engrossed in these activities because their so called religious and spiritual leaders are concerned with distracting them by preaching messages of peace, prosperity and sound living HERE on earth.
 
They are told by their false religious and spiritual leaders that because of the grace of God, a Christian is forever saved and so can continue to live in sin thereafter because when God looks at the Christian, He sees Jesus Christ Who shed His precious blood on the Cross of Calvary for all mankind.
 
There is hardly any preaching on immorality, ungodliness, worldliness, holiness, righteousness, repentance, heaven, hell, eternity, Rapture, etc.
 
How can such worldly focused persons be expected to hold their ground when faced with torture and death and asked to deny Jesus Christ as their Saviour and Lord?
 
Unfortunately for these group of people who are living in sin whilst professing Christianity, Jesus Christ is going to leave them behind when He comes for His saints who are ready and qualified by virtue of uncompromising obedience to the Word of God in the Holy Bible.
 
For 7 whole years, any one Christian left behind after the Rapture (any moment now) of the saints by the Lord Jesus Christ would suffer unimaginable torture and hardship never experienced since the beginning of this world in the period known in Scripture as the Great Tribulation.
 
The hardship would also include God’s righteous judgement upon all the inhabitants of the earth who have rejected the Truth of God’s Word concerning Jesus Christ as the Saviour and Lord – Revelation 8:6 - 10:10
 
The devil, demons and their human agents would also be torturing everyone who refuses to take the mark of beast (RFID microchip) and even when they beg for death they would not see it.
 
Dear friend, why would any sane person want to experience such?
 
Why are you calling yourself a Christian and still allowing the devil to deceive you into sin and ungodliness when the same devil would torture you non-stop until you die and enter an eternal damnation when you deny Jesus Christ?
 
For anyone who erroneously thinks and believes the path he or she is currently following would lead to God and so he or she rejects the Gospel of Jesus Christ Who ALONE is the Saviour and Lord of all mankind, the same fate awaits you unless you come to your senses, realize your error, repent of sin, confess and forsake sin and accept Jesus Christ NOW as your Saviour and Lord.
 
The days ahead are going to be very difficult days for genuine Christians who are following Jesus Christ sincerely, fake Christians living a double life of sin and then all non-Christians out there who are following error.
 
It is ONLY the genuine Christian that has the assurance of an eternal life in heaven with Jesus Christ.
 
There is simply no hope for any other person no matter what the person believes now.
 
Any time you disobey God’s commands in the Holy Bible to commit sin, you are not only denying Jesus Christ but making a mockery of His sacrificial death at Calvary for your sin and the sins of all mankind.
 
Save yourself today from an eternal damnation before it is too late for you.
 
Jesus Christ is coming shortly to take ONLY those who are qualified according to His righteous standards in the Holy Bible.

Are you living a genuine life as His disciple? Are you ready for Him? Come to Jesus today, for tomorrow may be too late for you.
