EVERYONE ON EARTH IS DESTINED TO DIE SOME DAY. ARE YOU PREPARED FOR IT?

PHILIPPIANS 2:14-16

“Do all things without grumbling and fault-finding and complaining [against God] and questioning and doubting [among yourselves],

 

15 That you may show yourselves to be blameless and guileless, innocent and uncontaminated, children of God without blemish (faultless, unrebukable) in the midst of a crooked and wicked generation [spiritually perverted and perverse], among whom you are seen as bright lights (stars or beacons shining out clearly) in the [dark] world,

 

16 Holding out [to it] and offering [to all men] the Word of Life, so that in the day of Christ I may have something of which exultantly to rejoice and glory in that I did not run my race in vain or spend my labor to no purpose.”

 

 

 

Dear people of God, there is nobody born into this world that is not destined to die physically.

 

Majority of humans are afraid of death but majority are not afraid of life after death.

 

While majority of humans do everything possible to avoid physical death, very few do everything possible to ensure they land in the right place after death.

 

Some don’t believe there is a life after death. Some don’t even believe there is a place called HELL where people who died in sin are damned forever in pain and torture.

 

There is a Christian denomination that has taught their members that HELL does not exist.

 

Oh, what a great pity!

 

There is one of just 2 places where every human being that has died from this world would land after death – HEAVEN or HELL.

 

There is no middle place of temporary suffering from where one would enter heaven. This is a demonic teaching from the devil to deceive ignorant people into believing they can live anyhow they like on this earth and still be assured of heaven.

 

In his Divine Revelation from the Lord Jesus Christ, a Christian brother, Michael Sambo, said the Lord Jesus Christ told him to tell the world that Truth, Holiness and Righteousness are the requirements for anybody to enter heaven.

 

Of course, Jesus Christ is referring to Christians because they are the ONLY ones qualified to enter heaven by virtue of having repented of sin, confessed and forsook sin, accepted the Lord Jesus as their Saviour and Messiah.

 

A lot of non-Christians get offended at Christians whenever they make such statement but what such offended people fail to realize is that this is what is stated in the infallible Word of God, the Holy Bible, where Jesus Christ Himself said He (Jesus) is the Way, the Truth and the Life and that no human can reach God except through Him – John 14:6.

 

Any Christian that says anything other than what is stated in God’s Word has rebelled against God and such action has eternal consequences if the individual fails to repent and retrace his or her steps back to God before it is too late.

 

A wise Christian MUST prepare for life after death.

 

In the last 2 weeks, I have heard of the death of an 81-year old, a 32-year old and someone close to 50 who slept and did not wake up the next day.

 

You can see that death has no specific age.

 

Though God has promised long life to His children, the devil can cut it short through sickness or accident particularly if the person was living in sin and exposed himself or herself spiritually.

 

One thing that many Christians cannot fathom is why a loving God can send even His own children, the Christians, who die in sin to HELL for an eternity, a world of endless suffering forever and ever.

 

Something else many find hard to believe is that this same God can send children to HELL. By children, I mean anyone no matter how young, who has reached the age of reason to know good from bad or evil and deliberately chooses to do evil until death.

 

From Divine Revelations of some Christians about HELL, there are kids as young as 5 year old in HELL!

 

Take note that God is a loving Father Who loves all His children with an everlasting love. As His Word says, His mercy and loving kindness endure forever.

 

Christians often misinterpret this statement to also include life after death.

 

On the other side of life, mercy ends forever, the justice of God take over and there is no mercy for anyone who dies in sin and is judged according to God’s Righteous and unchanging standard in His Word.

 

There are many Scriptures to attest to this fact but Christians need to study the Word of God to know what it says and take God at His Word.

 

Hebrews 9:27 (AMPC) states thus, “And just as it is appointed for [all] men once to die, and after that the [certain] judgment,”

 

This judgement of God for everyone who dies has no room whatsoever for mercy because mercy ends on this earth just as the Lord Jesus Christ revealed to Brother Michael Sambo.

 

The age of the person, the years of service in the Lord’s vineyard, the number of souls won over to God through evangelism, the years of faithfulness to God before the committed sin that sent the person to an eternal damnation does not count as far as God is concerned – Ezekiel 33:12.

 

God is Holy, God is Righteous, and God is Just.

 

This is something the devil and his demons have tried their possible best to keep away from human beings to be wary of so that they can amend their ways genuinely and uncompromisingly follow Jesus Christ until they die.

 

Unfortunately, God would never say because you were ignorant of His Word that shows His standard then He should lower His standard for you to enter heaven when you die in sin – Leviticus 5:17.

 

See what is written in Revelation 21:27 (AMPC), “But nothing that defiles or profanes or is unwashed shall ever enter it (HEAVEN), nor anyone who commits abominations (unclean, detestable, morally repugnant things) or practices falsehood, but only those whose names are recorded in the Lamb's Book of Life.”

 

 

Even Paul the Apostle was also concerned about his eternity in his letter under God’s inspiration to the Corinthians where he stated in 1 Corinthians 9:27 (AMPC), “But [like a boxer] I buffet my body [handle it roughly, discipline it by hardships] and subdue it, for fear that after proclaiming to others the Gospel and things pertaining to it, I myself should become unfit [not stand the test, be unapproved and rejected as a counterfeit].”

 

From this Scripture, you can see that even a preacher of the Gospel can end up in HELL if he or she compromises or contravenes a single command of the Lord Jesus Christ and dies in the process.

 

So this should tell us clearly that God is NOT respecter of persons – Romans 2:11.

 

A Christian who wants to end up in heaven should prepare for life after death by doing the following:

 

(1) Stop calling yourself a sinner living by grace. As Jesus Christ revealed to Bro Michael Sambo, this is a lie of the devil to stop you from recognizing that you can live above sin if you run and hold on tightly to Jesus Christ every day – 1 John 3:5-10.

 

(2) Live in Truth, Righteousness and Holiness every single day of your life on this earth as though that day were the last – Proverbs 27:1.

 

(3) Pursue peace with all humans and holiness without which no one would ever see the Lord – Hebrews 12:14

 

(4) Pray every single day as a family and individually morning, afternoon and night – 1 Thessalonians 5:17. You cannot be too busy not to have time for God.

 

(5) Study, meditate on and confess God’s Word over your life every single day – James 1:21.

 

You should understand that memorizing God’s Word would not help you but when you study and meditate on it, just as stated in James 1:21, it becomes rooted, engrafted or implanted in you and contains the power to save your soul.

 

Again, you cannot be too busy not to have time to study God’s Word because the transforming power of God’s Word in the life of a genuine Christian comes from study and meditation everyday.

 

(6) Go for evangelism every week to tell others about Jesus Christ.

 

Tell them about sin and its consequences according to God’s Word in the Holy Bible, repentance and Salvation found only in Jesus Christ and the unchanging and unchangeable standard of Truth, Holiness and Righteousness Jesus Christ demands from all His children and every human being on this planet.

 

Even as a new believer, join an Evangelism team where the Lord would teach you how to share Him with others.

 

Make sure you are also studying God’s Word so you can answer questions about your hope in Christ whenever you handle evangelism personally.

 

(7) In your daily prayer and study of God’s Word, always ask the Lord Jesus Christ to have mercy on you, show you your shortcomings for you to repent immediately and return to Him and to release His grace upon you to live for Him alone.

 

Dear friend, not all preachers are of God. As the Lord Jesus Christ has told us, by their fruits, you shall know them – Matthew 7:15-16.

 

Check the preachers’ words, actions and reactions against the Word of God if there is a correlation. If there is none, then run away from such preachers and ask God to show you the genuine ones through whom you pay attention to listen to His Word.

 

Take this message and all other messages I have shared with you seriously because there is no more time and the devil is out to destroy souls.

 

Jesus Christ loves you so much that He died for your sins and resurrected the third day to give you eternal life.

 

Do not profess Jesus Christ and then disappoint Him by living and dying in sin because Jesus Christ will NEVER change His standard for anyone including you.

 

After the ongoing Great Tribulation, Jesus Christ is coming to take ONLY those who are qualified according to His righteous standards in the Holy Bible.

 

Are you living a genuine life as His disciple? Are you ready for Him? Come to Jesus today, for tomorrow may be too late for you.

 

May the good Lord bless you as you heed His Word today, act on it and share with others in Jesus’ Most Holy Name, Amen.
