GOD CANNOT LIE
Numbers 23:19 (AMPC)“God is not a man, that He
should tell or act a lie, neither the son of man, that He should feel
repentance or compunction [for what He has promised]. Has He said and shall
He not do it? Or has He spoken and shall He not make it good?” Dear people of God, in previous posts we have established that
the right way to pray for answer from God is praying according His Word or
according to Scriptures. The reason why we must pray according to Scriptures is because
God is the One Who made the statement either directly or through inspiration of
His servants and we know God cannot lie. God’s integrity is called into question when we pray according
to His Word and so God is obliged to grant that prayer request as proof of His
integrity. The challenge with many Christians is that they relate with God
as though He were a human, meanwhile, we are told today that God is NOT a man
that He should lie and that whatever He has declared He would do. This should give us assurance that our Father Who is the
greatest Being would always grant our prayer requests that is in accordance
with His Word or His perfect will. If you pray according to God’s Word and He does not grant the
request, it means God told a lie in His Word but because God cannot lie, that
cannot happen because His integrity is at stake. Yes, one may argue that he or she prayed according to God’s Word
but the answer is still not forthcoming. Jesus says in Mark 11:24 (AMPC), “For this reason
I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be
confident) that it is granted to you, and you will [get it].” How many times are you to pray on a specific request when Jesus
says believe after praying that it is granted to you and you would get it? Just
once because if you keep praying over and over again on the same matter, it
means you never believed in the first place that it was granted and that is
praying in unbelief and God does not answer prayer made in unbelief – James 1:5-8. You should also note that God answers every prayer made
according to His Word but the speed with which the requester receives depends
not on God but the requester. God answers immediately but the requester’s ability to act in
faith and remain in faith until the answer comes is what makes the difference. Acting in faith means anytime the matter comes to your mind, you
simply rejoice and thank God for answered prayer, not ask God again to do what
you have already prayed for and believed it is granted. According to a message by the late preacher and prophet Kenneth E. Hagin, your spirit must yield in faith to the Holy Spirit Whom God uses
to grants answers to our prayers so you must yield to the Spirit to get speedy
answers to requests. Dear friend, these Divine blessings of God’s answers to prayers
is the birth right of every born-again Christian child of God who loves and
obeys the Lord’s commands. Again, God answers every prayer made according to His Word
because of His integrity to honour His Word but it does not mean the person is
in right standing with God and such individual will end up in eternal damnation
after leaving this world unless the person repents genuinely to align his or
her life according to God’s perfect will – Matthew 7:21-23. Dear friend, Jesus Christ is coming shortly
to take in Rapture ONLY those who are qualified according to His righteous
standards in the Holy Bible. Are you living a genuine life as His disciple? Are you ready for
Him? Repent and come to Jesus today, for tomorrow may be too late for you. Once Jesus takes away His children, the entire earth would come
under God’s wrath and Divine judgement in a most terrible manner never
experienced before. Why do you risk your life in sin and risk the grave danger, pain
and suffering ahead and risk ultimately damning your soul forever in the lake
of fire? May the good Lord bless you as you heed His Word today, act on
it and share with others in Jesus’ Most Powerful Name, Amen. Gabriel Ama.
