FLIMSY EXCUSES TO COMMIT SIN

Romans 8:9 (AMPC)
 
“But you are not living the life of the flesh, you are living the life of the Spirit, if the [Holy] Spirit of God [really] dwells within you [directs and controls you]. But if anyone does not possess the [Holy] Spirit of Christ, he is none of His [he does not belong to Christ, is not truly a child of God].”
 
Dear people of God, you can find God’s opinion on any matter of life in the Holy Bible.
 
Now, there is a common worldly saying that every man must be involved in at least one of three habits:
 
(1) Cigarettes or marijuana smoking
(2) Alcohol consumption
(3) Womanizing or flirting with women as a single or married man
 
Unfortunately for those who believe in this false statement, this is man’s opinion or worldly wisdom so it cannot hold in the court of heaven.
 
For anyone to insist that every man by nature should indulge in one of these 3 despicable behaviours is to state that God made a mistake in creating man but I know for certain that God can NEVER make a mistake.
 
No doubt, a man who is yet to become a new creation in the Lord Jesus Christ would indulge in these behaviours because God’s Spirit is not operating in him but a foul spirit that influences him to do ungodly things but he yields to this foul spirit so ultimately, it is his personal choice and he bears responsibility for his choices in life.
 
Once the man by the grace of Almighty God realizes his dire need for God and becomes a born again Christian, God renews his spirit to become a new creation in Christ Jesus.
 
Just as God’s Word says in Romans 8:9-11, as long as the man allows the Spirit of God to rule his life as against his flesh, he CANNOT indulge in these despicable behaviours.
 
So what spirit operates in you dear friend? Is it God’s Holy Spirit as His child or is it a foul spirit from the devil controlling your life to sin against God? You have the free will to change master today and refrain from ungodly behaviour by God’s grace.
 
Dear friend, it takes the Spirit of God in you to live a holy life but you must yield totally to God’s Spirit and allow Him to rule you.
 
You must undertake a daily study and meditation of God’s Word in the Bible for it to become rooted or ingrafted in you, which contains the power to save your soul (James 1:21) and you must offer your body as a living sacrifice to God.
 
This is the only way to escape the pollutions, false narratives, wrong notions and wisdom of this world that damages a person spiritually to become a slave of sin and the devil.
 
Jesus Christ remains the only Way to heaven and there is no other Way.
 
Jesus Christ is coming shortly to take in Rapture ONLY those who are qualified according to His righteous standards in the Holy Bible.
 
Are you living a genuine life as His disciple? Are you ready for Him? Repent and come to Jesus today, for tomorrow may be too late for you.
 
Once Jesus takes away His children, the entire earth would come under God’s wrath and Divine judgement in a most terrible manner never experienced before.
 
Why do you risk your life in sin and risk the grave danger, pain and suffering ahead and risk ultimately damning your soul forever in the lake of fire?
 
May the good Lord bless you as you heed His Word today, act on it and share with others in Jesus’ Most Powerful Name, Amen.
