THE REASONS PEOPLE JOIN THE OCCULT

Mark 8:36-37 (AMPC)
“For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit his life [in the eternal kingdom of God]?
 
37 For what can a man give as an exchange (a compensation, a ransom, in return) for his [blessed] life [in the eternal kingdom of God]?”
  
Dear people of God, the worst decision any human can make in this life is to join the occult. It is the worst decision because it would eventually end in an eternal damnation in HELL FIRE forever.
 
Even though many know this, they still make the ignorant and grave mistake of selling their soul to the devil in the name of occultism.
 
So why do people join the occult?
 
There are 3 major reasons people join the occult, which is (1) poverty (2) power and (3) sex
 
Let’s examine each reason carefully:
 
(1) Poverty – one of the biggest challenge majority of people face the world over is poverty. People who live in poverty are unable to provide the basics of life, which are food, shelter and clothing.
 
As a result of this challenge of poverty, the allure of easy wealth from joining the occult becomes tempting when occultists sell the idea to people struggling financially.
 
(2) Power – with money comes power and fame so the occultists equally sell this idea to their prospective members. This is why majority of political office holders and some who hold senior positions in the public and private sector organizations all over the world are occultists who have sold their souls and nations to the devil for power and fame.
 
Another reason for the lust for power is to control fellow humans, oppress and enslave them. Many people love the idea of their fellow humans worshipping them even when such worship should EXCLUSIVELY be reserved for our Creator, the Almighty God and Father of my Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ.
 
(3) Sex – with money, power, fame, control and oppression of their fellow humans, occultists dehumanize their fellow humans through sexual immorality, making them undergo and perform ungodly acts.
 
Sometimes, they use their resources to lure married women and men into adultery and ungodly sexual immorality that is highly offensive to God.
 
Dear friend, let it be known to you today that the devil is the one behind poverty in this world. The devil is the one behind every single calamity this world is experiencing because the devil is the god of this world as stated in the Holy Bible in 2 Corinthians 4:4 whose sole mission is to kill, steal and destroy souls of men (John 10:10).
 
The first man, Adam, lost his God-given dominion as the god of this world through the sin of disobedience of God’s command at the beginning when he allowed the devil to deceive him and Eve his wife.
 
The devil has maintained this dominion ever since as the god of this world because Adam’s lease is still running but this would eventually end someday at God’s appointed time as stated in Revelation 20:10 when God would cast the devil, demons, the beast and false prophet into the fiery lake of burning brimstone to be tortured day and night FOREVER AND EVER.
 
Consequently, the devil is determined to take as many humans as he can with him into eternal damnation, which is why he deceives people into joining the occult whilst promising them wealth, power, fame and sex.
 
Unfortunately, even when humans see others dying and know that they themselves would still die one day, they still allow themselves to be deceived by the devil for a few years of their lives on this earth oppressing others with their demonic wealth.
 
In fact, for the devil to continue to give his adherents the false wealth, power and fame, they pay a heavy price including human blood sacrifice of their loved ones, relatives and friends from time to time, which is why the people close to them usually die mysteriously.
 
Dear friend, this is why the Lord Jesus Christ asked the question in today’s lead Holy Bible text about the propriety of gaining this whole world and losing your soul for all eternity.
 
The devil’s hold over this world’s wealth as the god is only temporary after which he goes to an eternal damnation forever in the fiery lake of burning brimstone so what is the sense in submitting your soul to the devil over what is temporal?
 
Jesus Christ has made it clear to all His children in Matthew 6:33 that we should FIRST seek His Kingdom and His righteousness and then He would add the materials needs of our lives effortlessly.
 
Have you UNCOMPROMISINGLY obeyed the Lord’s command in this area and His blessings never came? I am yet to see that individual because God cannot lie.
 
The beauty of these material blessings from God is that you would enjoy it here on earth without any enslaving condition and still enter eternal life with Jesus Christ forever when you depart, so is that not a better choice?
 
When you get married legally according to God’s standards, then you are permitted to have intimate relations with your spouse otherwise God does not permit intimate relations of any type with someone to whom you are NOT legally married.
 
As for power, God does not permit anyone to control or oppress or enslave others but rather to use the power and influence to demonstrate God’s love by helping and being a blessing to others.
 
So it means when you become God’s child by repenting of sin, confessing, forsaking sin, proclaiming Jesus Christ as Messiah of your life and uncompromisingly obeying God’s commands, you would DEFINITELY enjoy from God the very things the devil deceives you into eternally damning your soul to receive.
 
Which do you think is the better option?
 
I would rather follow Jesus Christ, receive all my blessings here on this earth as His child and leave to be with Him forever in heaven than be deceived by the devil, damn my soul for the same “blessings” and then be off to an eternal damnation in HELL FIRE.
 
What is your choice dear friend?
 
Jesus Christ is coming shortly to take in Rapture ONLY those who are qualified according to His righteous standards in the Holy Bible.
 
Are you living a genuine life as His disciple? Are you ready for Him? Repent and come to Jesus today, for tomorrow may be too late for you.
 
Once Jesus takes away His children, the entire earth would come under God’s wrath and Divine judgement in a most terrible manner never experienced before.
 
Why do you therefore risk your life in sin and risk the grave danger, pain and suffering ahead and risk ultimately damning your soul forever in the lake of fire?
