BLAMING GOD FOR WHAT THE DEVIL CAUSED (2)

Mark 11:24-26 (AMPC)

 

“For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will [get it].

 

25 And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him and let it drop (leave it, let it go), in order that your Father Who is in heaven may also forgive you your [own] failings and shortcomings and let them drop.

 

26 But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your failings and shortcomings.”

 

Dear people of God, in the first part of the message on the same topic, we established that the devil is the cause of all evil in this world.

 

We saw that Christians ignorantly and sinfully blame God for their problems whereas the devil is the culprit who misleads them, keeps them ignorant of God’s Word to know their rights in Christ.

 

It is ignorance of these rights in Christ that is the bane of many Christians today who give up their faith when prayers are not answered and the simple reason is because God CANNOT violate His Word.

 

You need to get this Truth established in your spirit man for your own good.

 

Fortunately, God is ever merciful and continues to send help to His children to get them to open their eyes of spiritual understanding of His Word to activate to obtain what belongs to them in Christ.

 

If you had read the first part of this message, recall I did mention that if your prayers are not answered, it was NOT God causing it and the fault comes from either you or the devil.

 

Since we dealt with the devil’s cause in part one, we will deal with how you can cause your own problems and fail to appropriate what belongs to you in Christ.

 

Looking again at today’s main Scripture text, we see that the Lord Jesus Christ is talking about faith in prayer and how to get it to work for you.

 

The Lord then goes on to warn that BEFORE WE PRAY TO HIM, we MUST forgive anyone who has offended us otherwise the prayer is wasted as God would also not forgive our own shortcomings and sins against Him.

 

When your prayers are not answered, you are doing one of 3 things, namely:

 

(1) Praying in unbelief – this simply means doubting that you would receive an answer to your prayer and you can be sure you won’t get the answer because God operates through faith – Hebrews 11:6

 

If you are praying to God and lamenting about your life, your situation, your problems, etc, you are praying in unbelief and no answer would come until you pray in faith according to God’s Word.

 

(2) Not praying according to God’s Word – this is common but not usually obvious to many Christians. If God’s Word states one thing and you are praying something else, no answer would come until you pray according to God’s Word because God CANNOT violate His Word - 1 John 5:14-15.

 

Dear friend, I cannot emphasize this point enough because it makes the difference between a victorious Christian and a struggling Christian.

 

Still citing the example of praying in unbelief above, does the Bible tell us to lament in prayers about our problems? If yes, where is it stated?

 

If no, what then does God’s Word tell us to do? See it here in 1 Peter 5:7(AMPC), “Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully.”

 

You can see that what God says to do is handover all your concerns ONCE and for all to Him.

 

If you do this in prayer and then continue thereafter to lament about the same problem, you have retrieved it again from God and no answer would come from Him in respect of your prayers until you hand it over to Him in worship, praise and thanksgiving whilst believing (NOT hoping) He has handled it.

 

(3) Harbouring unforgiveness against someone in your heart. That someone could be you because there are individuals who refuse to forgive themselves whenever they falter, and this hinders their prayers.

 

There are those who refuse to forgive some other person and for as long as they do this, their prayers are hindered. Many intractable medical ailments afflicting people are traced to unforgiveness and resentment they harbour in their hearts against others and even against themselves.

 

Until they let it go by forgiving themselves or others, no answer to their prayers can come from God and neither would the medical ailment go.

 

Dear friend, in these 3 cases, the devil is on standby to accuse you and hinder your prayers through unbelief, praying outside of God’s Word and unforgiveness.

 

At this point, many blame God without realizing they caused it and the devil legitimately held on to it.

 

The solution to this problem again, is to know what the Holy Bible says and to do exactly what the Holy Bible says. It is that simple.

Most importantly, get into God’s Word daily through study, meditation, belief, confession and uncompromising obedient action to build you up spiritually and improve your life in every area.

 

Having read the first and second part of this message, you now know that God is NOT the author of your problems, but it is either you or the devil.

 

You now know that the devil keeps Christians ignorant of their God-given rights in Christ Jesus when they fail to study their Bible daily to feed their souls through meditation and to build their faith and spiritual life.

 

You now know that blaming God for your problems is a terrible sin from which you must repent immediately if you are guilty of this sinful act because God is always the Solution to every problem.

 

You now know how to come out of any problem of this life, which is by first surrendering your life to God through the Lord Jesus Christ, confessing and forsaking sin, accepting Jesus Christ as your Messiah and then uncompromisingly obeying all Jesus’ commands in the Bible.

 

Now that you know, what are going to do with the information?

 

Jesus Christ is coming shortly to take in Rapture ONLY those who are qualified according to His righteous standards in the Holy Bible.

 

Are you living a genuine life as His disciple? Are you ready for Him? Repent and come to Jesus today, for tomorrow may be too late for you.

 

Once Jesus takes away His children, the entire earth would come under God’s wrath and Divine judgement in a most terrible manner never experienced before.

 

Why do you risk your life in sin, risk the grave danger, pain and suffering ahead and risk ultimately damning your soul forever in the lake of fire?
