“Now a great many of the Jews knew that
He was there; and they came, not for Jesus’ sake only, but that they might also
see Lazarus, whom He had raised from the dead. 10But
the chief priests plotted to put Lazarus to death also, 11because
on account of him many of the Jews went away and believed in Jesus.”
Dear people of God, in today’s lead Holy Bible text
above, we see the chief priests plotting to kill Lazarus because on account of
the fact that the Lord Jesus Christ raised him from death after 4 days, many
Jews came to believe in Jesus Christ.
Rather than appreciate God for the mighty works Jesus
Christ was doing and acknowledging Jesus Christ as the Great Person that He
was, the Pharisees were more interested in protecting their fame and legacy as
Religious leaders of the day.
They were more than ready to discredit whatever Jesus
was doing so that the Jews would pay attention to them and not to Jesus Christ.
As of today, I can tell you dear friend that these
same Jewish religious leaders have since died and come to believe in Jesus
Christ for Who He truly is, but it is too late for them because they have
perished in eternity in HELL and unfortunately, there is no more hope for them
as a result of rejecting Jesus Christ while they were alive here on earth.
Dear friend, in today’s world, we see preachers and
prophets and even less known Christian believers who are working quietly for
God through preaching the Gospel and through whom God is confirming His Word by
great miracles.
We see a number of people who have come to
acknowledge God as the One behind these great miracles and have received Jesus
Christ as their Saviour and Lord, as God expects all humans to do.
Their new found faith in Jesus Christ is shown in a
total transformation of their character from evil to good as God expects
everyone to do.
However, we see family members, relatives, friends,
neighbours of these new Christian believers fighting them, discrediting their
new faith, discrediting the persons through whom God used to work the miracles
that made the new Christians believe in Jesus Christ.
Despite glaring evidence of God’s work in these
people, there are many who would rubbish it, make light of it and claim that
all is fake.
Are you such an individual? Repent today before it is
too late for you.
You certainly don’t want to end up like the Religious
leaders of Jesus’ day who behaved the same way, resisted the Truth God showed
them and have since perished in HELL.
Take note that God is the One behind these miracles
confirming His Word through the preachers that Jesus Christ is His Son, the
Saviour of the world, the Messiah and the only Way for anyone to reach Him, God
Almighty.
If you believe this message, take another step today
by thanking God for this great opportunity, repent genuinely of your sins,
confess your sins to God, forsake them, invite Jesus Christ to take over life
as your Saviour and Lord and then you commit to following and strictly obeying
Jesus Christ’s commands in the Holy Bible going forward.
You must look for a Church to fellowship where God’s
Word is preached from the Holy Bible and the message is pointing people to
heaven, holiness, righteousness, warning them about sin, evil, immorality, the dangers
of sin, the reality of HELL and how to avoid going there.
If after reading this message, you still resist the
Truth, you cannot blame God for the consequences of your decision because God
gave everyone in HELL the same opportunity, but they chose to resist and reject
it and today they are regretting but it is too late for them.
Jesus Christ is calling you today and
now. He expects you to immediately heed His call to repent genuinely of your
sins (all evil and all wrongdoing), confess sins, forsake sins, accept Jesus
Christ as your Saviour and Lord and immediately enter eternal life in strict
and uncompromising obedience to God’s commands in the Holy Bible.
Tomorrow or later may be too late and the
consequences are better imagined than experienced.
Why do you risk your life in sin, risk
the grave danger, pain and suffering ahead and risk ultimately damning your
soul forever in the lake of fire?
