Mark 13:35-36 (AMPC)
“Therefore
watch (give strict attention, be cautious and alert), for you do not know when
the Master of the house is coming–in the evening, or at midnight, or at
cockcrowing, or in the morning–
36 [Watch,
I say] lest He come suddenly and unexpectedly and find you asleep.”
Dear people of God, today’s main Holy Bible text is about the
Lord Jesus Christ’s warning to everyone and Christians in particular not to be
spiritually asleep when He returns to take His children in Rapture, an event
that is imminent.
Since the beginning of the year 2021, the number of persons I have
either met or known personally who have died is 10, with 5 of them in total in
the month of October 2021 alone including a close friend’s father.
Since I was born, I have never had such shocking experience in any
one year and so you can just imagine how surprising this was for me.
It’s not that it is a scary experience, or that it frightens me
but it is a grim reminder that there is absolutely nothing in this world that
we are chasing that should make us forget the reality of a life after this
world and to be fully prepared for it.
In fact, I thank God Almighty and Father of my Saviour and Lord
Jesus Christ Who delivered me in His mercy and in response to my family and I’s
prayers from the wickedness of the devil who wanted to take my own life through
sickness circa end of July and early August 2021.
Yes, I was indeed very sick because the devil tried to take my
life but God delivered me by His grace and proved Himself when I stood my
ground on His precious Word that says Jesus took all our sicknesses and
diseases away (Matthew 8:17) and by His stripes at Calvary, we WERE healed (1
Peter 2:24).
Glory be to God Almighty forever and ever in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
That said, every one of these persons I knew who have died in the
year 2021 have entered eternity and are in one of ONLY two places (HELL or
HEAVEN) every dead human MUST enter.
They have faced Jesus Christ the Master of the Universe Whose
Righteous Judgement according to His Word in the Bible acquits or convicts them
for their lifestyle choices while alive here on earth.
This is the grim and inescapable fate of all humans born into
this world and so no amount of denial or refusal to accept this Truth of God’s
Word can stop it from happening.
Every one of us therefore has to make the choice whether or not
to believe God, repent of sin, confess and forsake sin, accept Jesus Christ as
Saviour and Lord and live in uncompromising obedience to His commands in the
Holy Bible.
If you make this right choice to believe God, accept and uncompromisingly
obey all He has revealed concerning His Son our Lord Jesus Christ, all would
certainly end well for you either when you depart this world at death or when
Jesus Christ comes to Rapture His children.
If you make the sad and unfortunate choice to disbelieve and
reject the Gospel of Jesus Christ, there is no hope whatsoever for you once you
depart this world.
I therefore urge you dear friend, to heed God’s warning as you
hear the Gospel preached all over the world and accept Jesus Christ into your
life today and now, and obey His every command to live an uncompromising live of
Truth, Holiness and Righteousness.
If you are a Christian still compromising and living in sin (ALL
WRONGDOING), you are simply endangering your soul and you must genuinely
repent, cry to God for forgiveness and retrace your steps before it is too late
for you.
Come to Jesus Christ today and now, for tomorrow or later may be
too late for you.
May the good Lord bless you as you heed
His Word today, act on it and share with others in Jesus’ Most Powerful Name,
Amen.
